We are enjoying a visit from Faraja Kisota who is a student at Concordia Univ. in Moorhead MN. She is the daughter of Ana Kisota, a special lady instrumental in opening the doors to our work among her people, the Maasai.
She shows the reserve typical of the Maasai. She generally doesn't speak unless spoken to, which presents a bit of challenge to her hosts. I though perhaps she might enjoy hearing some of the singing I recorded on my Eiderol R-09 when I was in her village this past May. I forgot that her mother is one of the lead singers in the village and so I faield to warn her. Well, she nearly came unglued when she heard her mother singing the song she grew up hearing her sing. She hasn't seen her mother for over a year and probably won't see her until after her graduation in 3 years. It was wonderful to be present for such a touching moment.
My family is intrigued with Faraja's bearing...
If somebody could tell me how to upload a few mp3's and where to host them I'll rip a few tracks for your listening pleasure. it's some pretty cool stuff.

Sounds like a good visit, Evan. Maybe you could loosen her up and get her talking with a big cup of goat blood. Excuse yourself for a quick drive to the Winn Dixie, and she'll be all set up.

Would that be "@gmail.com"?
I must need to rip the 10 minute cut to a smaller bps standard. The only'n I found on my puter rips it to 192 kbps, producing a 9meg file. It's been sending all morning.
