Most of the cost in IL is tax. The date is $23.00. All the rest is tax levied by the state. IL actually has a tax tax. If the tax on a pack of smokes in Chicago is $28, a tax tax of 10% is added taking the added cost up to $36.28 so a pack of Newports will run just shy of $57. Nobody in IL dates in IL. They sneak across the line into IN and try to blend in with Hoosiers. How sad is that?

For $297 she better detail my truck too That's what my wife did for me on my 2006 Chevy Cobalt on our first date. Obviously not your car. First of all, there is not that much grass in NYC and, secondly, the car still has all four wheels.

Keen observations, LJ, and if you had really been paying attention, you would have remembered that our first date was in 2001, so there was no way I could have owned an '06 Cobalt.

To my knowledge, you and I have never been on a date. Some of 2001 is hazy, but I think I would remember that.

I was referring to my first date with Vivian. You know, at the Tibetan restaurant on that rainy February night, when someone stole my favorite Museum of Modern Art umbrella.

That sounds like a line from a Jimmy Webb song.
