Angie was working on some lesson plans the other night, and happened to share that.
It a technique she uses with her fourth graders to guide them through discussing the events in a story.
Someone... Wanted... But... So... Then...
Just fill it in from there. Absurdly simple, but just perfect.

Someone on the forum wanted to teach us a life hack. But I couldn't see how it could be used in a real life situation so I just skimmed by giving it barely a thought. But Then....

Someone on the forum wanted to teach us a life hack. But I couldn't see how it could be used in a real life situation so I just skimmed by giving it barely a thought. But Then.... there was a knock at the door. Waiting on my porch was a tall figure in a dark cloak. His face was shadowed, all I could see clearly were his sharp teeth as he smiled and said "Hello, Alan. I believe it is time to collect on a deal we made when you were 15. Do you remember Sally Ann Hochness? Do you remember what you promised me if she would agree to go with you to the ninth grade Gator Ball? I stammered helplessly. For I did remember. Then the tall shade extended a white bone-thin claw from the folds of his cloak, "Come Alan. The time has come to talk of many things: of shoes- and ships- and sealing wax- of cabbages- and kings".
