Thanks for being here.

Good morning. Merry Christmas Eve.
The tire shop is closed so my mower's down 'til at least Wednesday but I wasn't planning to use it anyway.
The kids arrive this afternoon but have to go back home tomorrow because my son has to work Wednesday. DIL has the week off. They got tickets to the Pats Game next Sunday so will make a quick trip up to Massachusetts Saturday. Come March, my son will take another trip to Massachusetts because he has a curling tournament to umpire. I don't know how many of those he has to do to get qualified as an Olympic curling official but he's working on it.
Have a good day.

Up and awake. Does anyone have a spare back they aren't using? Ugh. Claire is home through tomorrow, so we're are happily hanging out as a family. I don't think we have any grand plans.

Or usual early morning trip to buy food supplies at Granville Island. Then laziness. Then crab. Everyone is home. It's a wonderful thing.

Chilly here, 13 degrees F. I'm at work, but we no doubt will be able to leave early, prolly noonish. Nothing special planned for the rest of the day/night, will do some cooking. Gathering with Babzi for part of tomorrow.
Vikings stunk yesterday in the first half, then came around. The only thing that gives them a chance against the Bears next Sunday is the home-field acoustics.

Today the office is closed, so I'm sitting on the couch watching "An American in Paris" (the Broadway musical, not the movies) on the Broadway channel on Amazon Prime. Kids will be here soon and the opening of presents will commence. Only a few surprises under the tree - mainly tickets to Broadway Across America shows in the upcoming season (sensing a theme?). Glad to have a tree, and the ability to put presents under it.

Good Morning Good People
Gray and chilly with a dusting of snow
Downtown Grand Rapids is nearly deserted. I am one of four people working in a building where 50 people work on a normal workday. Listening to the entirety of Handel's Messiah.
Leaving at noon, hanging out with Mizz Lola for the afternoon. Perhaps a trip to the dog park to exercise a high-energy Brittany, in order to have a peaceful evening.
Have a fine Christmas Eve one and all.

Good morning. I'll be helping with communion at the children's pageant this afternoon. It's the first of four Christmas Eve services and it's the only one I've never been to. It's geared towards doting parents but I'm sure a geezer can survive it.
Dan, it's always a good day to count blessings.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning.
27F/-3C Overcast.
Shopping done, gifts wrapped and under the tree, nothing to do until Boxing Day. We will have a nice roast chicken tonight and Prime Rib for Christmas dinner. I do have a movie to watch but my girls may decide to play a board game first while sipping hot cocoa, Shannon's Recipe on page 5 in the Library under Recipes.
Pine Island 71F.
86 Days til Spring.

Listening to the entirety of Handel's Messiah. I tried that yesterday. I was vetoed. I live with neanderthals.

Merry Christmas to my Soundhole friends! I cherish every one of you.
The Christmas shindig is at my house this year so friends and neighbors are gathering later today for a crab leg and prime rib extravaganza with assorted potluckery. Stop on by and pick a tune.
We have about 6” of new snow and more coming so it’s off to clear the decks.
