That article very loosely flings assertions about. Poor science. I’m wondering about Hillsdale College. It claims a bias towards religious and personal freedom but Wiki states it courts ties with Trump and his ilk.

I had easy access to pot over a couple months in hawaii last summer, but only smoked about every other week, and kind of irritated some people when I only wanted a toke or two (vs getting totaled). Times change, I guess.

Common sense wound dictate that we don’t need another mood altering substance legalized for general use. Alcohol is doing just fine as far as reeking carnage.
Colorado is our crash test dummy. We should have some good data in a couple more years.

All we need to do is caution people to use good judgment when high. That should work.

We should have some good data in a couple more years. Because prohibition works so well? The Feds really screwed the pooch on marijuana. We could he had 50 years of well designed studies, finding out what it is good for, (if anything) and what its downsides are, aside from the obvious. But no, we have to make it a morality play. So it's at square one now. The funny thing is, for me, in my 20s I smoked it all the time, and now that it's legal, I have no interest in it. Mike

I was recently talking to someone who had moved here from Colorado. He said the biggest problem with legal marijuana has been a large growth in the homeless population. They'd rather be homeless where they can at least get high.

I'd guess the homeless problem has a lot more to do with high housing costs, and the lack of living wage jobs for unskilled people, than availability of legal pot. Mike

I have four doctors - a shrink, GP, cardio, more
All of them said “you can eat mild THC gummies “ LEGAL
It’s been a year and now I am much more relaxed. And it helps my music better than my writing
I’m actually late. I need to eat my gummies
Adios

Ever since I retired from Federal service (and therefore could partake in the devil's weed without fear of repercussions) I've been following this debate with more care.
Marijuana, for the general population, is safer than most drugs on the market, including alcohol and opioid painkillers.
Having said that, there is evidence that among persons who were HEAVY consistent marijuana users in their teenage years, Marijuana can incite a temporary violent psychotic state without warning, at a low level of incidence.
This is a matter that requires more research. Allow me to point out that the same is true of many drugs currently on the market, including alcohol. In particular, gin seems to have a higher correlation with violence than other forms of alcohol.
