Got cool again. Off to New Orleans to bid a job.
Christine said "yes" to the dress. Our dear friends traveled 8 hrs to Dallas to help with the process then bought it for her.

Wife gets the day off (a Fed) so I took it off, too. Here at the Ford dealership getting some warranty work done on the Sync system. Later I've got a follow up for the pacemaker install. In between will be generally wasting time in any way the wife would like.

Good morning.
Warmer here, about 50 but wet. My mower is supposed to get picked up this morning for it's yearly service. I had to jump start it to get it out of its shed but it started. Apparently I shouldn't put 30 weight oil in it when it's cold out. I had a quart handy and used it but I guess it was a bad idea. Anyway it will get new oil and various filters and probably blades. Still the best mower I ever owned. 42" Hustler with a 19 horse Honda engine.
Happy President's day even if you hate the guy.

Morning friends. Lost my boy Diesel Friday night. Happened quick with an emergency run to the vet after dinner. All in all an active happy 13 year old GSD right up to the last day. Feel like I have a hole in my life these last 2 days, but it's getting better.

Sorry about Diesel, MM. I know the feeling and it's difficult.
Good morning, all. We're having what the National Weather Service calls "anomalous" weather--fifteen degrees below normal and wet. We'll probably have freezes two to three nights this week and Hobson may be looking at snow in a few days. Diane and I had planned a hike today but we tabled it because of the weather forecast. There are plenty of ways to fill the void. Enjoy your day.

Good morning.
18F/-8 Mostly sunny.
DaWife, being that she works for a bank, has the day off, as do the girls for some reason. Me, I have work to do. Being self employed means no paid days off.
Sorry for your loss Steve, dogs are family.
