Happy March. Spring starts in March.
Raining again here but it beats the snow North of us. Mary's headed to a quilt show across the bay for a couple of days. A friend is driving so I don't have to this time. While she's gone I'll find something to do, maybe some cleaning because I can use products with a scent without kicking off an asthma attack. I can play guitar without being embarrassed at how bad it is. The birds won't care. I'm going to a friend's house for dinner because his wife is headed to Jamaica so we can drink and he can smoke cigars and his dog won't complain.
Have a good March 1st.

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND!
CNN
March is definitely coming in like a lion over the next few days.
First, a winter storm will spread snow along a 2,500-mile path from Friday through Monday, all the way from California to Maine.
The snow will start late Friday in California and the central Rockies, then move into the central Plains and Midwest on Saturday, the Weather Channel said. By Sunday, the system will strengthen and spread snow from Missouri to New York State.
Some of the storm's heaviest snow is likely to fall when it reaches the Northeast late Sunday and into Monday.
Also this weekend, a ferocious, "punishing" blast of record cold air will first invade the central U.S. Saturday into Sunday, then attack the eastern and southern U.S. early next week, the National Weather Service said.
How cold? By Sunday morning, some parts of the northern Plains will see wind chills nearing 55 degrees below zero. A few spots could see all-time record cold temperatures for March, the weather service predicted.
The weather service called the cold "dangerous". In portions of Montana, this will be the coldest temperatures of the entire winter season as actual temperatures dip to 40 below. The level of cold will also be more typical of late-January than early March.
Minneapolis could see a high temperature of only 2 degrees on Sunday.
Near-freezing temperatures will then spread as far south as Florida by early next week.

I'll dudy best I can, Dan. This morning I'll be on dudy at an elementary school, reading to second and third-graders as part of Read Across America day. I've done it before and it's fun, although I get tired of hearing my own voice. Then lunch with an old friend, then buying groceries. All's well.

Coffee while watching the morning news. Deer in these parts are hungry/starving. Saw a herd along I 380 yesterday they are standing all over in the ditch and along the freeway, looking for food, seemingly completely oblivious to the cars and trucks going by a few feet away.

Two inches of snow on the ground, and it will be in the low 30's today. Tomorrow will be in the 50's.
Lots of stuff to do around the house, maybe go swimming.
Have fun everyone.

Mornin'..... Busy day. More snow due here this weekend. I used to like snow forecasts when I had my grocery store.....the only days that I really made some money. And that was on milk, bread, and toilet paper.

Workout, nails, give yungerdottir a drive around test, as this afternoon she is going for her full driver’s license. Pot roast tonight, and a movie. All very good.
