Good morning.
Friday and we're supposed to get to the upper-60s this afternoon.
Plan is to wash the bird's cages if I can get my body loosened up enough to carry them outside and get the pressure washer working. We'll see.
Fast running out of March. Hoping for warmer in April but the 10 day doesn't look all that good.
Happy Friday. It's not Monday.

I pulled it old right from the kiln. So hot I could barely hold, But it told a tale of ancient places it had been. Of 16th century years, of tavern beers Held in rounded shapes, peasants draped in capes Landscapes of Renaissance paintings. Glazed like later years rolled ‘round and Albany brown Dug straight from the ground the sound Of barges down the Erie Canal Low bridge! Everybody down! This pitcher, brand new But with a soul so old It couldn’t have come from my hand. Maybe it came from my dreams.

Good morning. We'll have high 50s-low 80s. I've been invited to do a small-time photography exhibit. Before answering I have to decide whether the benefits justify the costs minus expected sales. Sales would probably be limited. To get a good-sized photo framed well costs so much that the result is usually out of most people's price range.
Enjoy your day.

I think most of the people that do photography at art fairs I see do their own framing. (and matting). It becomes a necessary evil. Buy materials in bulk, and with some tools, bang out some nice simple frames. That way the cost of printing is the big expense. One guy we bought something from sold matted photos. He said you can go to Hobby Lobby and buy a standard sized frame for cheap. So we did.

Morning all. Lunch with the old farts today. And check on ordering a canopy and bed rug for the truck. And that should take care of Friday.
John, those pitchers are gorgeous.

"One guy we bought something from sold matted photos. He said you can go to Hobby Lobby and buy a standard sized frame for cheap." That's what I would do at a fair but the exhibit would require frames. I've matted photos but I'm not good at it and I hate selling things that aren't right.

Busy buying a house in Tucson. A week ago today we visited the place for 3 hours and contracted with a buyer's agent. Went back on Tuesday to see it briefly at night, stayed in a hotel, and visited again Wednesday for more looking in the daytime. Back to the agent's office to make an offer. Did some verbal negotiating and agreed on a price. Sellers signed yesterday. I got a homeowner's policy quote from our insurance agent. Today we have to arrange for inspection and appraisal. We know there are some repair issues. The buying and moving and selling our current house will be consuming a lot of our time for months.

Renee, you're wise to check it out at different hours. I knew some people who bought a house without realizing that loud mowing on a nearby golf course would start at the crack of dawn.

Looking for some enthusiasm out of my coffee cup.
Beautiful patina on those pitchers John! I was thinking "old" before I started reading.

Don't know what I like more, John, the pitchers or the verse. I like 'em both a lot.

Just sent in my monthly book review column, marking 29 years writing for the same magazine. It's #303 rather than #348 because I've skipped one or two months some years. Nevertheless, it's the longest continuous gig I've ever had. (C., on the other hand, is in Year 42 of teaching here and Year 50-something of teaching-in-general.)
