Good morning.
The sun is out and it's reasonably warm. I can't say that the new pill did much last night, no miracle cure anyway. I'll take 2 tonight and see if that helps. That was the deal, try one and if it doesn't help try 2. The funny thing was when I went to pick up the scrip the pharmacist said the scrip was for 120 pills but my insurance would only approve 90 and wanted a co-pay of $40 but he could give me 120 for $15 so he didn't use my insurance. It's a generic.
Got a call yesterday from the outfit that's trying to put higher speed internet in around here. I had talked to them in December but they couldn't hit my location then. Supposedly they think they can now but my trees could be an issue. Anyway they'll come tomorrow morning and see if they can hook me in somehow. No charge if they can't. Here's hoping. 25mbps will beat DSL.
If this means anything to the physicians, this is my diagnosis which I think refers to a bulging disk at L5. Lumbosacral radiculopathy at L5 - Ambulatory referral to Neurology - Ambulatory referral to Pain Management - Ambulatory referral to Physical Therapy
Have a good day.

Saturn, which was just to the left of the moon yesterday morning, was down and to the far right from it today. Sneaky Saturn!

Huckleberry Band practice today. The drummer doesn’t own a car yet( he is waiting for the five year DUI probation is over the get cheaper insurance) so he rents one or takes Uber from LA to Bakersfield. Both cost just over $100.. The bus is cheaper by about $70, but he has to take Uber to the Greyhound station.

My plan is to accompany a friend from work (who's a former recording engineer and still a guitar player) to the Metropolitan Museum to see this show on the instruments of rock music, such as Chuck Berry's Gibson ES-350T, for example.
I look forward to getting out today, as well. It's supposed to be sunny and 71°.
As Dan says, have good ones.

Productive day yesterday. I got 3 weeks worth of laundry done. Then Mr. H mowed the front acre and I did some weeding and pruning. I played a bit of guitar. Lately there's only time for a bit. My gimpy knee was doing well enough and I even walked a mile after having laid off our walk for 3 days. Today we'll slog through the documents from the HOA where we'll be moving. They arrived by mail, postage due, on a CD yesterday. This afternoon I have a dental appointment. Just a checkup and cleaning, but there's some possibility the dentist will refer me to a periodontist. It's only money. And time. Grocery shopping after the dentist, then I'll see if I can do our usual 2 1/4 mile walk.

Good morning. 73F/23C Sunny. Nice sunny day here but I'll be down in the shop most of the day. Having lunch with Terry and DaBoyz tomorrow at a new brew pub near my place. Nice locally brewed and import beer selection, huge wine list with a interesting food menu, I'm eyeballing their black Bock(6.5%) as my drink. Pine Island 85F.

Well.... I completed my custom shop order to CFM changing from 'modern adhesive' to 'traditional horsehide glue.' Added $500 to the price. Urk. Then I got back my Clapton 000-28 after some very minor work. They put on the medium gauge 'Retro' strings. Holy Cow!! Boy did that bring the guitar to life. It sounds like an loud, sonorous, wonderful old Martin with those strings. Now I do not want to sell it to afford the custom shop newbie. Dilemma.

One of my rules about selling guitars, do not play it unless absolutely necessary and then only long enough to perform the needed function. If you bond with it again you won't be able to sell it.

"But has Jupiter aligned with Mars and is the Moon in the seventh house?" Look around. Do you see harmony and understanding, sympathy and trust abounding, no more falsehoods or derisions?
