Raining like Noah lived in the neighborhood. The ducks don’t seem to mind. Keep your feet dry.

Good morning. We got a nice and welcome rain last night. The artichokes are now ripening at a pace that almost exceeds our desire to eat them. But not quite. Enjoy your day.

Up, drinking coffee. Phil and I played last night at an open mic at The Mill in Iowa City. Fun place to play, great sound.

Good morning. waiting for the sun to burn through the current clouds.
49 years ago today I married a little girl who had no idea what that would do to her but it's been a long strange trip and she's still here so I'll take her up to Salisbury Md. tonight and get her some lobster. That's out anniversary tradition, Japanese steak House and she gets lobster. I'm walking a little better so these pills are doing something. Hope I can make the drive without hurting my back. The Subaru is reasonably comfortable.
Have a good Tuesday.

Good morning.
50F/10C Rain.
Got lots to do and a back ache to help impede getting anything done. So breakfast is a nice bagel with cream cheese, some fruit, coffee and a handful of Ibuprofen. Yesterdays carnitas turned out fabulous and $8 worth of pork ribs made enough for 3 meals.
Pine Island 90F.

Six years ago I was jamming with Bob Brozman and my buddy Matt Hayden in Santa Cruz. A year later Brozman closed his garage door, started up his ‘49 Caddy Convertible , and called it quits.
