Good morning.
Hot and humid again today. Must be Summer. Think I'll waste the day and probably hit the pool after 3:00pm. The boss may have a different plan but with luck she'll just go to the quilt studio.
Happy Thursday.

Good morning. It'll be a typically hot June day. I'll help at the food bank this morning. Enjoy your day.

Driving a shuttle van for the local school district this summer. I am transporting elementary special needs kids. Have to say that after 37 years of higher education, teaching and administrating, these kids are such a refreshing change! Enjoying being around these kids, they have their own joys and a very special place in my heart.
This evening Paleo and I go tear up the Artisan's Sanctuary. Looking forward to that as well!

Twenty-one years ago today I was getting my rented tux on and scurrying around attending to last minute details before getting married at 2pm. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago, time flies! Now we have a wonderful little boy that is keeping us young while turning us gray.

As some may have deduced, a morning shower rolled through up here.

Good morning,
84F29C Rain, T-storms.
Just had a rainstorm roll through here, sounds of thunder off in the distance. Went around the house making sure windows were closed and both cats inside.
Taking time off work today to go see Glenn's(Creek House) dog Shoes. Her hind legs gave out, she cannot stand, she will probably be put down very soon. Shoes is dearly loved by hundreds of people, probably anyone that met her because of her gentle loving nature, a real sweetheart of a Golden Retriever. Above all other animals dogs have a special place in this world, Shoes is very special.
Pine Island 91F.
EDIT: Glenn called, I'll go see Shoes after Fret Central tomorrow. She is on pain meds and will get up and walk but only when she absolutely has to.

Had employee appreciation day today at the hospital. Got recognized for 20 years' employ. When I took this job I had had jobs for an average of 3 years with a couple of shorter stints tossed in. 3 years was the standard duration for E.D. docs in NH back then. We'd leave one NH E.D. and show up at the next, and someone familiar would shuffle into the position you just left. Once in a while a doc would show up from Mass, which would throw the whole rotation out of whack. After my last hospital before this one, I actually made my mind up I wanted to stay in one place for more than 3 years. made it with 17 years to spare, and am now the current doc with the longest tenure at our place. I am pleased, amazed, and quite nostalgic remembering all the docs, nurses, aids and patients who have come and gone. Blessed.

Congratulations Doc! But you lost me here: "Once in a while a doc would show up from Mass, which would throw the whole rotation out of whack." What does church attendance have to do with it?
