Good morning.
If I could cure all the sick here I would. Hope everybody gets better soon.
Back to the heat and humidity today. Glad I did the mowing yesterday. The pool temp is 90 but at lest it made the 83 degree air yesterday feel cool. That won't work today. I may get the pressure washer set up and play in the cold water cleaning the outdoor furniture so it doesn't look so bad when the kids get here. I'm discussing the idea with my left leg and it's fighting me so far.
Happy Tuesday.

Another beautiful morning. I intend to ruin that here in an hour or two by heading to DMV to get my license renewed.

Good morning. I'll have a colonoscopy late this morning so I can't have any coffee. All is hazy. Two large tree limbs broke in the back yard and I'll have to figure out what to do about those after the colonoscopy. All is well except for the niggles. Enjoy your day.

Hot and steamy, maybe some rain in the afternoon, but we won't care because we'll be listening to Todd serenade us at our Tuesday afternoon jam/practice session.

Started pressure washing the outdoor furniture so of course my pressure washer had a leak and couldn't make any pressure. So now I have a new Craftsman pressure washer from Ace Hardware. One chair down 5 to go plus the footstools. I'm running out of shade though. This may take some time.

Gray with a chance of rain and cool.
I'm trying to learn how to split logs fo fence rails. What I've discovered so far is three wedges aren't enough.
Better days y'all

It was great to hear from Marty this morning. Thanks and thanks all fo your concern. I had a bad vertigo attack Sunday afternoon at the grocery store and they called paramedics who took me to the ER. They medicated me and did MRIs to be sure it wasn’t a stroke. More checks through the night then ultrasounds of heart and carotid arteries. OTs, PTs, Neurologist, and the whole works. Now I’m supposed to see an ENT specialist to check for Ménière's disease. Feeling much better today.

Foremost, I hope you all are well. Yesterday I had a great guitar lesson. I spent an hour with the talented Micah Wolfe examining relative minors, CAGED theory, and the minor pentatonic scale. Got my doggone music theory geek on, I did! (It all started with a discussion of how the A shaped barre chord corresponds to Pattern 4 in the minor scale. Mind blown... ) Today was a good day at work. As is typical in the Army, we have a lot of personnel churn this summer. Our faculty are about 60% civilian and 40% military, and most of the churn is military. The new crew bring a lot of energy with them, which makes me smile. I had a great conversation with one of them today about things we can positively affect (And gads I HOPE I used the right word there or I guarantee I'll get some <> love...) in our department. That reenforced my belief that a leader's job, among others, is to unshackle the intellectual energy of the team while underwriting the mayhem. I can't wait to see what this guy comes up with. I reckon it will be for the better. What's left for me now this evening? A choice between going outside into the heat to continue to prep the screen porch for painting, and sitting inside drinking alcohol and watching crap on T.V.! More to follow.

I hope you find it's something you can deal with, my friend.

I had a productive day. Gus and I got a lot done, including work on a new deck and putting up gutters on the shed roof we re-built last year. Worked till sundown. Now I am sipping a gin heavy gin and tonic. My first gin and tonic of the summer. And when this one is done, I am making another one. Which will be my second gin and tonic of the summer.
Dub, I have read that gin and tonics cure vertigo.
