In Fort Smith, AR in a chicken plant waiting for our contact so we can go in and grind a steel belt all day.
Life is good.

Good afternoon.
Had a neurology follow-up this morning. I was hoping I could get my next cortisone shot moved up but there's a minimum wait time between shots and Medicare will only pay for 3 a year so they usually wait 4 months which would be September and my appointment is in October already so probably not. I may get to sneak in a little earlier but not by much. I'll get a call if there's an earlier cancellation or something.
I was going to go play pick-up-sticks but just heard I'm going to the grocery store.
Happy Thursday.

Wife came home with a great lobster roll, and a bunch of black cherries. I had just made ice coffee. What a great lunch!

I'm in the middle of the "The Girl Who Played With Fire". Boy, those Swedes in Sweden are a bit friskier than the Swedes over here.

Wednesday evening Dar surprised me with the best blueberry pie I've ever eaten. This morning I polished it off before I hit the road. I called Dub as I drove over the Mississippi. No answer. I waved to Todd as I drove by the Vinton exit. I'm in a very nice three star hotel for the night.

Went through old real estate files, deciding what to keep and what to toss from 2 previous residences that we owned. Generally emptied out furniture in preparation for the big furniture move in a week and a half. Stopped by the post office. Loaded and hauled about 130 books to the Friends of the Library used book store. Did grocery shopping and laundry. Made an attempt at house cleaning, since a real estate agent is coming by tomorrow to give us hints on what we need to do to make this place more marketable. Can't figure out why I'm tired. Must be old age.
