With the tree work and fence removal done I'm headed out to mow the areas I haven't been able to get in to.
Have a good Wednesday.

Good morning. I'm still without wheels as my old Jeep had more ailments than I suspected. Ka-ching. Ka-ching. Except for the small stuff all's well. Enjoy your day.

Made a successful move to Tucson on Monday. A great moving company arrived on time, was careful and courteous, loaded up quickly, unloaded quickly. All for $1,300 plus insurance for all of our furniture. By the time we unloaded our 2 vehicles, we were exhausted. But we're used to being exhausted. Then yesterday I was unpacking boxes and Mr. H had just finished setting up my computer when the doorbell rang. It was the AT&T/DirecTV setup guy, 2 days early. That was the first of many crazy mixups by the company. Felt sorry for the guy, a subcontractor who doesn't get paid unless the install gets done. A very patient guy. I spent a half hour on the phone with a woman who was obviously at a call center in India. So much noise on the line and the background chatter of other people that I could barely make out what she said and had to repeat everything back. Mr. H with hearing aids had no hope at all and passed the phone to me. The installer finally got it done and left because he still needed to wait for a security code. About a minute later he was back because he finally got the code. So we have TV, but didn't get our planned tasks done, e.g. Mr. H's computer is not set up yet.

Home from my 21 mi morning bike ride through the Iowa County side. Wild Turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and a raccoon. Enjoyed the corn pollen and the smell of sweaty cows. Also took a break to watch an airplane spraying a soybean field next to the bike trail.

I've decided (mostly) that for my 50th birthday I'm going to get a guitar or two. So I'm planning a trip to Elderly in a few Saturdays, probably the 24th. Does anyone want to join me? It's about a 4 1/2 hour drive for me, so I'd likely leave early Saturday morning, spend the day shopping, stay the night in the Lansing area and drive home Sunday.
I'm planning on looks at the Faridas, all three sizes, all three trims (even a maple b/s J-45 copy). I might also look at getting a cheap electric, too.
"Breakfast with the Beatles" on SiriusXM is playing the song"The King of Fuh." (Also known as the Fuh King). It was released on Apple Records in the late 60's.

Well, I'm a little smarter then that, (I think), I made sure the wind was blowing any of whatever they were spraying away from me. Additionally, I was in the area where the plane was turning around, not spraying. Fun watching the plane going between the water tower and a cell tower in a turn then over two set of highlines with a few feet of clearance.

Heyyyyyy.....
Just noodling here for the day. And working on some tunes for the SoCal trip. With a high of 103º with way too much humidity. 70+% this morning and it just sucked the air right out of you. Now down to 45%.

Here come the T-storms. Supposed to get wild off and on over the next 24 hours. But it is NH, nothing is reliably predictable.

I've been making enchilada sauce from scratch. I don't like the extra work but it's the only way to get the flavor right if you grew up eating Tex-Mex. I've been honing the flavor for several years. Perfection isn't in sight but the result is damned good.

You're going to go up 69 -- maybe I could meet you and buy you lunch? There's a really good (and cheap) Italian restaurant not far off 69.

Whereabouts on 69? That might work out. I could bring along some Tidy Cat containers (I know, they've got labeling on them, so they might not fit your purpose).
