Good morning.
Yesterday's back pain eventually went away and I mowed the whole place. Mary was concerned, no angry, that I did that but I have no more pain than usual this morning so she'll get over it. Don't now what caused the back pain but I don't miss it and hope it stays away.
No heavy work scheduled today. I may even find time to play guitar.
Happy Thursday.

Morning dudes and dudettes.
Gig went very well last night. Great stage and sound system. My new fiddle/guitar guy did great. I think he likes playing along with my music. There was a nice small, but mighty, group of about 20 friends/people in the venue. Three hours of music is a lot to play through. (3, 45 minute sets). I did 30 songs last night. I was really wearing down at the end. But it all went very well.

Up and at em. Had a treadmill stress test yesterday, and, other than being old and fat, I seem mostly ok. So, per the instructions of the medical staff, I’m off for a walk soon. I’ve also managed to drop 8 lbs by following the suggestion of one of our resident soundhole docs who spoke about the success of a patient he had who changed his diet to include around 8 servings of fruit and veggies a day, so we will see how that goes but it seems to be working.
Today, after my walk, the wife and I are off to McMinville to pick up our wine club shipment and meet friends at Community Plate for lunch.
Have a day everyone.
Mike

Good morning. Food bank duty this morning followed by doing something indoors, as we're having a hot spell. Enjoy your day.

I liked this one so much that I am going to slip it in again today.
Update!
I just heard that while the medical examiner was on lunch break, Epstein cremated himself.

Was disappointed that I couldn't make it to the state fair yesterday to see Dub and Fiddlerina at the Pioneer Hall, but I'm hopeful that I can get to The Great South Amana Swap Meet tomorrow in time to see them. I got asked to open for them at the last minute but work intruded so that couldn't happen.
Beautiful in Iowa this morning. Another taste of fall. Unfortunately the back, arm and shoulder pain is still with me. Will make a long day at the shop.

Good morning.
79F/26C Mostly sunny.
Tyler completed his first refret in pretty good time and it was perfect, didn't have to make him go back a redo any step. He also made a new bone nut and now his Fender Esquire plays beautifully. I didn't look over his shoulder as I had work to do too but I did talk to him while he worked and made him stop at certain points to step back and evaluate his work.

Computer problems solved yesterday! A day of office work, then, hopefully, a few mile walk with the dogs.
Mike, and whichever doctor here that gave the advice, thanks for the tip on 8 servings of veggies and fruits. I will give that a try, (then go in for my annual check up).

And there are some rules. Potatoes and corn does not count as a serving of veg, I think that was about it. Mike

Mike 8 to 10 servings fresh fruit or vegetables potatoes don't count. No sweetened beverages. In other words, avoid sugar and starches and eat those colorful complex carbs. It works. Not just to lose weight, but cover all your nutritional needs.
