Good morning.
There was a note by the coffee maker that the power was out in the wife's room. The light in the ceiling fan went out last night and it wasn't the bulb. It was too dark to screw with it and everything else was still working so I left it for this morning. Apparently something tripped the breaker later, I'm assuming something in the fan. Once she got up I started taking things apart and there was no power to the fan light but resetting the breaker made everything else work. I was going to replace the fan unit but it's old and we never used it anyway so got a ceiling fixture instead. It's wired up and works but I can't see to get the screws in to attach it to the ceiling box. Tried all my Navy language and still failed so I'm taking a break.
Happy f#$%^&g Thursday.

We had a day of sun. Now back to grey and wet for several days.
Taking Susan to a knitting shop that has a sale of hand died wool today, a birthday present. Then I get to go in and endure a beating from the head of the company I consult for. I’m pretty much up to here with it. We’ll see how it goes.

Heyyyyy.....
Yes, fall has arrived in SW Kansas. Barely recouped from the SoCal trip and head back to KC again Sunday.
Still can't get over the feel and sound of that Kirk Sand guitar.

Wow, Bruce. I've never known well practiced Navy language to fail. Sorry. Nice brisk autumn day today. Slept in all the way to 8.

Is there an easy way to kill bamboo? I'll keep going on the hard way, trying to dig up the outlying roots. I have a feeling this might take a while.
Better days y'all

Top of the afternoon. I've been without internet for two days except on my phone. I got a new wireless network adapter this afternoon. I got the wifi working but then it wouldn't recognize the IP address of most sites, including this one. Just now it recognized this one. Who knows what the morrow will bring.

Better days y'all Did a little research and most of it said cut it to ground level then wait for new leaves to sprout and hit them wit Roundup. Caution, don't vape the Roundup.

I use it all the time to kill trees in fencelines. The place where my folks have their cabin in Maryland has way to much bamboo, and they use there to control that as well. Just cut the bamboo short, and squirt just enough Tordon on the stump so the area you've cut it blue. Works great.
