Good morning.
I've been up for about 5 hours and as far as I know nothing has broken around here. I'll knock on the wooden desk. With luck I'll mostly take the day off. Fall is moving in, cooler and windy.
Happy Friday.

You too, Dan.
Good morning everyone. It's a pleasure to have internet again. Today's agenda includes a lot of chores and lunch with a friend. None of it should be unpleasant. One chore consists of picking up new spectacles made necessary by aging. They ought to help.
Enjoy your day.

If you run into an American named Norm Gabel tell him I said "HI". He's my age, 71 but doesn't act it. He married a woman from there about 5 or 6 years ago and moved down.

Bob, congratulations on making this happen. Dia de Muertos is a big multi-day holiday in Mexico. Never been there at that time, but you may want to look into whether that's a good time to move in.
Nothing exciting going on for me today. We explored another nearby walking path this morning. Getting ready to run down to the old house for more yard work and packing. We're both getting tired of this and are getting anxious to put the place on the market.
Got a temporary crown yesterday. Took over 2 hours, but wasn't too unpleasant. Had an old silver filling in that tooth. I wonder how long ago that must have been put in. Also a big cavity in the same tooth. At least I get to keep it. The tooth, not the cavity.

Bruce MacNeil thanks Why don’t you give me that Norm’s email or ph # please? I’d like to talk with ex-pats.

I don't know his number or address. Lost touch when he moved there. He posts to FB occasionally. I'll see if I can find out.
