Front Royal is the town 6 miles to the east of me. This impersonation of the big city 70 miles to the east is how we entertain ourselves these days. Complete with big time press coverage. Whoo hoo! Small town scandal

Feasance The performance of an act.
Malfeasance is the commission of an illegal act. Misfeasance is the inadequate or improper performance of a lawful act. Nonfeasance is the neglect of a duty or the failure to perform a required task.

You're surrounded. Might be time to get the hell out. The purchasing manager at my company lives in Front Royal. This is the best entertainment you can get for free.

Please keep us posted on the pending removal of county officials. I'm on the edge of my seat.

Aqua, I got a headache just trying to read that. I'm more interested in the bears invading trash cans scourge going on out there.

What kills me, is, if they did indeed embezzle 21 million dollars, wtf were they doing hanging around? Maybe a nice beach in Thailand, or something, with new names, etc.? I mean, surely that’s enough cash to survive on. And surely they knew, at some point, someone would figure it out. Even civic government is not that boneheaded.

Maybe in Canada they're not.

A guy in nearby Ashby MN who ran the grain elevator embezzled 5.1 million and spent much of it on big game hunting trips all around the world. He had many of his kills mounted and displayed in a special addition on his house.
For some reason the board of the CoOp never considered how he could do that on a grain elevator operator’s salary.
As I recall their excuse was “well he just told us he invested wisely “

Fundamentally when the FBI started sniffing around the whole town government seemed to be in on the plot. The Board of Supervisors keep trying to pass resolutions to have the town pick up thier defense tabs. Makes for entertaining meetings. A local cop a while ago started to investigate. He was shot dead on his front lawn in broad daylight at 9 am and nobody ever saw anything. The local sheriff blew his brains out when he learned the Feds were on the way. All has to do with a big Avtex Superfund site down by the river (yes, that river). Our paltry mayor who only drove an ATV into the library while drunk at a summer festival downtown a couple months ago just can't compete.

"Even civic government is not that boneheaded." Maybe in Canada they're not. I loved the quote about you can’t over see everything. Shitballs, 21 million. One thing I learned in the working world, is that when you are responsible for large amounts of cash, you better know wtf happened to it.
