Back to the office today after a week and a half of unstructured time off. I dread what I am going to find in my inbox, knowing full well that the person filling in for me likely couldn't get everything done.
Have good ones, everybody.

Good morning.
77 days 'til Spring but there will be a Spring this year.
Sunny and 50-something today but rain scheduled for the next couple of days so I'll restock the groceries today.
Happy Thursday and my sympathies to those who have to go back to work today.

Howard, we always pay for time away from work when we go back. I hope it's not too bad.
Good morning, all. It's my morning to volunteer at the food bank. It'll be 40-62 and sunny here. Enjoy your day.

Up and feeling better. Still have the sniffles but, overall, feeling fairly close to almost normal if you factor in the variables and the wind chill. It is the best I have felt in two and a half weeks. Barb feels better than I do. She got sick 3 days earlier, so she is on the mend 3 days ahead. I am still retired, so no going back to work for me! Have a good day.

Today is more if the same. Contractors working on finishing oil tank testing and sewer connection, I still have the crud, vacating the house with the dog and wife because of contractor commotion, maybe they will get it all finished by tonight. But I doubt it.
We might head out to McMinville to fill out paper work for our background check at the rv park so we can get the monthly rate. We need to move there by Feb 1. Still haven’t figured out what to do with mail service etc during outer coming two months of “ homelessness”. We also have to transfer all of our bill paying records to the new address, but there is no mail service there so I’m not sure how that works.
And the adventure continues.

Imagine strolling into a furniture store and doing this routine: What would possess someone to think of something like this? How many times do you have to drop a table on your head before you get it right?

here comes my adventures. This is my 12th day in the hospital. It started in Puerto Vallarta-it was a free clinic/hospital. I had to leave and got a plane and now in Marin County. I’ve had some ups and downs,I have a lot of positivity I’ve had too many much downs,I do have a little bit negative with me I can walk vertical as play guitar works. I would rather play some piano too. I’d much better be walking the beach talking to people seeing Mother Nature I have a little bit actually positive. I’d rather not talking to patients nurses and doctors I’m so tired of it. ihave tubes tests. Everybody moves around all the time. I’d rather walk around maybe guitar of course piano of course But the doctors still have a figure out my problems with my medical crap. I’m really trying to help I cooperate. All the doctor says you don’t say the word thank you and please let less. Usually I just say I smile and smile I’m getting tired of saying the words thank you and please I’ve had too much of it.
This is the beginning of my writing and it’s not that great but I think you can figure it so have a good day everybody.

Tail end of a strange couple weeks.
Finished a normal 5 day work week. Then 2 days off, then 2 days working, 2 days off, 1 day working, 2 days off, 2 days working, 1 day off, 2 days working, 2 days off, and then back to normal.
Whew....

Back in the big city after a week of Christmas up at the farm. Hoo boy, do we have snow. Good thing I have "Chomper".
(I had my snowblower buddy take care of the sidewalks for me while we were gone.)

Good morning.
36F/2C Cloudy.
The tree is still up and there are presents under it. Normally it would have been taken down yesterday but we are having a second Christmas when eldest granddaughter Ayana gets here in a few days. I would like to spend the day in my shop but I'm out of strings so I guess I'll have to make a lunchtime foray to Capitol Guitars for supplies. Cheaper to get them online, and I will, but that takes 3-4 days. I usually recommend customers bring strings when they drop off guitars but sometimes time restraints for their appointment don't allow them to do that. So I try to keep a small stock in shop.
Everybody Get Well.

77 Days til Spring.

Heyyyyy.....
The first of the local area jams is tonight in Garden City. First set of new strings goes on the Goodall. The first batch of homemade chicken and noodles is on for tomorrow. It's almost noon here, and I haven't gotten dressed yet and have severe bed head. That's another first. I best get my butt in gear.

Today is the 7th day of Christmas. Still 5 to go. So one work day, 2 days off, and 2 more work days? Gotta be a conspiracy theory there somewhere.

14 inches of powder at the top of peak 10 this morning, 2+ feet in Horseshoe bowl. It's noon and I'm gassed.
