I watched it on CNN last night. Great show but the commercials were unbelievable. I want to watch it again without all the interruptions. I always loved Ronstadt.

Great show but the commercials were unbelievable. You mean that you usually believe commercials?

Great show but the commercials were unbelievable. You mean that you usually believe commercials? Of course. Especially the ones with that little talking lizard. He is a damned fine actor.

Watched about half of it, got the rest recorded. I am trying to understand some of the commercials. I get that "White Rabbit" pushes the buttons of the older viewer, but what does it have to do with the cruise line that's using the song?
I did know quite a bit about the Rondstadt family, since they are musicians and business people in Tucson. Did not know how many future famous musicians Linda worked with. Absolutely no surprise to me how tough it was being a woman in the music business at the time.

I was a Ronstadt fan. Saw her open for Neil Young once and listened to her from a few feet away at a Festival in Telluride.
"And the Mexican album; I had no idea that part of her background was Mexican, and that the album was the best selling non-English album in American musical history." I read her memoir. She was from an assimilated and well-known family in Tucson and she spoke very little Spanish. She had to learn enough Spanish to do the album.
