Woke up at 5, exactly 1 week from the start of my wife's big adventure, scared to death and crying like a child.
Good to know I've still got that in there somewhere.

Fiftieth anniversary of the release of Sweet Baby James. A recording that changed the musical lives of so many guitar players of my generation.

Sympathies Peter.
House is pretty much packed up, except for the beds. Can’t watch tv, or cook anything, movers come back tomorrow and all the furniture goes. Tomorrow night we will be trailer ummm, people. Breakfast this morning at Bannings Pie House, with Nita’s folks, who are also coming by and picking up some stuff. Then a trip or two to the storage unit, and afternoon Super Bowl at Nita’s sister’s house.

Good morning. Wishing all the best for Christal, and you, Peter.
Early Spring according to the groundhog. Hope he's right this time.
Hope Marty comes out OK. Hope all the other old guys are OK too.
Filed the taxes yesterday which is a good thing to get out of the way. I have a dentist appointment 20 miles South tomorrow morning and then have to take Mary to the retinologist 75 miles North on the afternoon so I'll rest up today. Don't really care who wins the Superbowl tonight, just hope it's the best team.
Happy Sunday.

Thanks guys. As my daughter's fiance, a wounded Army veteran with tours of Iraq and Afghanistan, likes to say- embrace the suck.

The sun is out so the groundhog will see his shadow and whatever that means is bound to happen. Meanwhile, I have my headphones ready to listen to music as Barb watches the Super Bowl to see if we win anything. She drew the short straw. Do your part and eat nothing but junk food today.

I've not been on here much again, so I'm behind on the news. Here's a prayer for whatever is going on in your lives.
Night two of the CPAP adventure complete. Yesterday I discovered the manufacturer's web page, so made an account. They track my sleep breathing metrics and CPAP usage via wireless and give me a daily score. Oh, game on, ResMed. Game ON!

My son uses a ResMed CPAP and posted the other day that they say you can't use a SoClean or it invalidates the warranty, something about the way it works kills the seals in the CPAP. Don't know how you plan to clean yours but figured you should check into it.

Had a great Patsy gig at Creek House last night. Big turnout including the Radtkes. Thanks!!
We were nervous playing for a Twin Cities audience but Cassie rose to the occasion and delivered the mail. Great night.

Trying another church today. Hope this one is a good fit.
Four days until we close on the sale of our house. Might happen sooner. A long story to be told after the closing.
Winter will be roaring back into Arizona during the next couple of days. I don't know what Agua Fria Freddie, our weather prediction rattlesnake, has done.
Oh, and it's a palindrome date: 02022020.

More sun today and a high in the 40s. My front stoop is finally free of ice. VERY quiet 10-day forecast, gonna get a little chillier but highs in the 20s from tomoro on and only two days with a 25% chance of precip, all the others virtually no chance. I'll take it.
Guess I will scoot out in a bit and buy a chicken to roast, seems like a good idea, for some reason.

Dish detergent and warm water is what they said to use every month.

It’s the Groundhog Day. February 2. And it might summer.... I doubt it. I decided to read a book. The Panther by Nelson DeMille. I haven’t read a entire book for seven years. And I might watch the GD movie another time. Super Bore Bowl - maybe I’ll see the advertisements
Maybe Marty will wake up. 👍🏻 we’ll see what happens what he says.
I had a coma 2/14/13 for two days And I remember what I said - 2 words

Had a pretty positive experience at the church of the week, a fairly mainstream Protestant denomination. Going back next Sunday for their "new members" class. We explained to the pastor that we are not ready to be new members, but want to know more.

Sold some of my RC airplanes and other stuff at a big swap meet yesterday, mostly because of the lack of funds in my bank account. Thinking I may have to sell a guitar or two as well. I’m not complaining, I should probably divest myself of some things sooner than later. Aches and pains are limiting my ability to do the things I want to do.
Let’s be clear, I can’t take anymore of you folks getting seriously ill, so quit it!

Trying another church today. Hope this one is a good fit. Did you hear the story about the guy that they rescued after years on a desert island? When the rescuers arrived they saw this beautiful church constructed of bamboo and other local materials. “Did you build that?” They asked him. “Yes that’s my church” he answered. Then they spotted another even more beautiful church further down the beach. Confused, they asked why two churches. “Oh that’s the church I used to go to” he said.
