My son uses a ResMed CPAP and posted the other day that they say you can't use a SoClean or it invalidates the warranty, something about the way it works kills the seals in the CPAP. Don't know how you plan to clean yours but figured you should check into it. Thanks Bruce. I got the same brief when I picked the machine up from the VA. Dish detergent and warm water is what they said to use every month. From what I've read those so-clean things don't do anything anyway. They're supposed to work with ozone or something, but it doesn't kill much. I got a fairly expensive machine that works well. Fill it up with hot water and dump in a couple tablets that fizz, and there you go. Turns out all the expensive machine does, however, is vibrate a bit and it's the tablets doing the heavy lifting. And the tablets are nothing more than the ones you use to clean dentures. So get some denture tablets, fill your water reservoir with hot water and go from there. Fill the hose, hang it so it's full of hot water, and drop a tablet in that as well. Clean out the facemask with a wipe of some sort. Seems to work for me.

Today is my wife's birthday. We just finished a lovely dinner of seafood risotto (one of my specialties, which she requested). The offspring has been away with friends all weekend, and it has been virtually stress-free. Ah, children. We'll have to go fetch her from her friend's home soon.
Have a good night, everyone. Stay well.

Sounds like a wonderful time, Howard. My sausage patties were pretty good, too. Ground hog, you know.

I don't think I've ever cleaned my CPAP.

I rinse my cpap everyday with hot water. That’s the reservoir, tubing and nose thingie. Three to four times a year I soak everything in vinegar for a couple of hours, then rinse it. So far, nothing has fallen off.
Dinner tonight was Thai take out. All our plates, utensils, cooking gear, the whole lot, is packed into boxes. It’s so freakin weird. This is our last night in the house. Sniff. It’s been a good home for us. Hope we like the new one.

In honor of Ground Hog day, I had sausage patties this morning. I mentioned it was Groundhog Day. My dog, Ruby, thought I said ground dog day and went into hiding.

I don't bother with water in mine. I do just as well with or without, and going without water means a dry, clean machine with no moisture-loving molds.
