Got the car registered yesterday. Much discussion of the best wat/time to head N. The plan is to clean the condo, pack up, and head out early tomorrow am. Will stop in either Red Bluff or Ciorning Thursday night, back in the trailer a Friday afternoon. Trying to see if we can close on the house a week early. If we can then we can pull the Airstream into the garage and live in it there until the movers can deliver our furniture.

Cold and rainy in Iowa, but then I'll be inside all day so it doesn't really matter. Got the keyboard back out yesterday but don't have a user's guide so I'm using the trial and error method.

Good morning, though cool and cloudy here.
There isn't much business here but most of what there is is closed down, even the DMV and local governments. I see that West Virginia now reports 1 case of virus so I guess moonshine isn't the cure I hoped for. Still no reported cases on the shore. Mary heard there were 3 cases on Chincoteague Island but our friends there aren't aware of any and the state hasn't reported any there. OTOH, 2 of the cases the state reports are actually in Texas, they're Virginia residents but quarantined in Texas where they were diagnosed so there may be 3 Chincoteague Summer residents with housing in some other state for all we know. In any case the reports aren't necessarily accurate. As near as I can figure, if you woke up this morning and can breathe, you're OK for now. Good luck.
Happy Wednesday.

How old is your keyboard? Mine is recent enough that the letters are still visible on the keys. If yours are completely worn off I can send you a picture of mine. (Though some keys like CRTL and ESC might be in a different place. 😉😎

Looks like the wife is going to be forced to work from home. Not that big a deal for Feds, I guess. Here the guy who shares the office with me had his wife lay down the law so he's got his computer and is working from home. Leaves me all alone in my own big office with a door that closes and locks.
Serendipity strikes again.

We're full bore here. Tax due dates are not taking a holiday (although at least some payment dates are). But nothing's official, just an announcement in a press conference (no guidance in writing).

Working from home again today. This might be the norm for a long long time. Predictions from epidemiology experts are looking pretty grim. Veganism is looking better and better to me.

Good morning. It's raining here and that should keep up all day.
On Friday, our older daughter was urging us to stay home and offering to bring us groceries if need be. Now she's self-quarantined, due to contact with someone who might be infected, and we're offering to bring her groceries if need be. We were talking to her last night and discussing how weird, fluid and unexpected all this is.
Brooding won't help. Let's try to be of good cheer.

I have found a technical manual for it and I have now found a partial user's guide. Everything is readable on it, it is basically unused. Been having lots of fun working with it. I'm a little fearful of being arrested by the Bluegrass police; I've been playing some Bluegrass on it!

Have to go to Walmart to get Mr. H's prescription, so I'm making a list of other things we need. Waffling between trying to buy everything on the list and getting just the real essentials and minimizing our time in the store. Wondering if there will be a time when we can't go out at all. A couple that we know are in self-quarantine after he attended a bridge tournament where a player later tested positive.

On a more serious note, Bill Monroe actually recorded at least one number using a piano. I’ve forgotten the title(s). He is also known to have used accordion, electric guitar, and organ at various times.

I just walk around Puerto Vallarta and I talk to people and I snap pictures also. Getting better with Spanish. Just one picture today. Gracias.
oops. I can’t find the picture. It’s a video with tortillas machine. You saw it in Chevys restaurants. This machine has at least 50 of those in PV.
