I've been passing time binge watching one of the more fun shows I've encountered. It's Miss Fischer's Murder Mysteries. Miss Fischer is a well to do feminist amateur detective in Melbourne and is a roaring 20's flapper (yes that is an oxymoron) that uses a sense of entitlement, humor and seduction to get her way and solve all kinds of foul play. All the characters that are in her circle are enjoyable, except the foul fiends that do the unthinkable. This is a fun, lively and sexy series, with a most likable lead. A no angst romp.

Big storms missed us. We have had wind but the rain, tornadoes, and locusts seem to have gone elsewhere. Another day of social distancing awaits!

Shout out to Bob. Everytime Evan and I discuss coming to see you life gets in the way. Currently I am in Christmas Fl which is between Orlando and Titusville. I don’t know when I’ll be home. All is well otherwise. Take care my friend.

Wind woke me up at 1:23 am, to bed and turned most of the remaining night. Should be a fun day.

Good morning. So foggy here I can't see much past my lot lines.
I should probably go to the grocery store but that doesn't sound like fun.
Hope y'all stay safe and well. Also hope those who aren't well get well soon.
It's an old friend's 73rd birthday so I sent him a Happy Birthday message. He replied with a Happy Vietnam Veteran's Day, we got through that and we'll get through this too message. We were about 2 miles apart in 'Nam and didn't know it. Be optimistic if you can.

Digging up dirt, roots and rocks. The reward comes later when I settle in with a lovely Mary Chapin Carpenter LP that arrived yesterday.
Cheers

Good morning gentlemen and ladies.
The past few weeks have probably been challenging for all of us.
Whether you or a loved one actually has COVID-19, is at higher risk due to age or health, or if you’ve simply been struggling to cope with the far-reaching impacts of the pandemic, I’m guessing that life today is quite different for you than it was just a few months ago.
I hope this supports you, your family and loved ones to get through these difficult times with some ease and grace.
Peace

Nice to see Chicago Bob! Tell us about what you have on the barbie, sir, if you are so moved.
I ventured out this morning to get a cuppa joe from the Mudslingers drive-up window, then motored via backroads to Stillwater, as I needed to see the St. Croix River, for some reason. It was there, all right, looking strong and chilly. I drove past all the big tour boats, wonder what kind of season they will have, if at all. Sigh.

The weather in south Louisiana is cloudy and warm so I smoked a pork rib roast and a bunch of chicken. I feed many.
Back in October I broke down and got me one of those 3-string cigar box guitars. Nothing's (almost nothing) better than barbecuing and playing blues.
I like the erie "doomsday" sound: slide it around; fast or slow; full chord, single string or in between.
Before you know it it's time to eat.

Barb was watching the live streamed church service from our parish this morning. At the end, the priest announced that services would be live streamed on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch. I assume someone explained it after they went off the air.

Present. All good in Western Mo. It's not NEARLY as windy as it was out here yesterday, so we'll probably have a fire around the fire pit this afternoon. Virtual work comes apace, and the learning curve continues to flatten.

A lot of denominations follow the same lectionary. I wonder how many of us came away from a live-streamed service humming dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones.
