Good morning. Guess this is the daily for whatever day it is.
Dropped the Subaru off this morning for its yearly inspection. Might as well get something accomplished this month.
Minor emergency yesterday afternoon when the chef found out she needed some flour to use while rolling out some dough but she'd used it up making the dough. Made a mad dash over to the grocery store but the baking goods isle was mostly bare. I found some corn meal but that wouldn't work, she tried that. I looked and looked and eventually found a small bag of some brand I've never heard of "Self rising" flour way on the back of the top shelf, hiding behind some corn meal so I grabbed it and hoped it would be OK. The initial response wasn't good but I told her it was "Top shelf" stuff so she accepted it. That's a win.
Still in the intermittent thunder storm area so no plans. Happy Thursday.

Talked to my daughter and Granddaughter last night, they have quite referring to the days of the week using the traditional names, Monda, Tuesday, etc. They said, since, in isolation, the days are the same they just refer to ever day as just "day". Yep.

Going to Safeway for their pickup service this morning. Find out today if we get our fridge this week. Fingers crossed. Hope to pickup lunch from Bannings pie house today. The make a great club sammie that I can split with da wife. And a Marion Berry pie. and we want to support the restaurants we love.
The Traeger died in the middle of a cook last night. That was annoying. There is a fuse that gets wonky, hopefully that’s all it is. It’s a pretty old unit, and somewhere down the line I’m looking at replacing it, but I’d rather nurse it along for another year or three.
Finally, more boxes will be emptied today, with no idea of where to put stuff. And that’s all the news fro chez Wonder.

Good morning. This is my 29th day of staying home. Outings in the desert are okay, though, and yesterday I got out and enjoyed the cactus flowers.
Last night we had smoked sirloin tip roast. Today I get to clean the smoker. It's worth it.
Have a good day.

Good Morning
Still fuzzy this morning, not sleeping well at night, I do at afternoon nap but not at night. I think it's the amount of meds I have to take.
Had a Doc appointment yesterday and it was nice to get out of the house for a while. Granddaughter Kaiah took me and got to drive my truck. She has her own car but I wanted to use the truck that hasn't been moved in months. She really liked being higher off the ground and the better veiw.

The trails were noisy this morning. The creek was high and fast and rushing around new deadfall and the wind was whistling high in the trees, their branches squeaking and clapping.

Damn I put it on my plate and I eat And then I clean up
Then I could do something else. 😎

Working from home today. I am looking forward to attending a 10:00 a.m. seminar on using "Zoom" in the workplace. Maybe a Costco run afterward - I will try out my new facemask.
Hey Mike, hold on to your old Traeger - the newer ones, like mine that I had to return, are made in China and a bit different design I think. Fortunately, Costco refunded my money, though I had it for over a year.

It wasn’t the Traeger. I blew a gfci wall plug somehow. So I will try again tonight with burgers on the Traeger. If it blows the plug again I’ll have to figure out if the Traeger is pulling too many amps for the circuit or if I have a faulty gfci wall plug.
When the Traeger does die, I think I’m going to get a MAK One Star. Stupidly expensive, but one of the best units on the pellet grill market.

Nothing much to break up today's monotony. No complaints. Yesterday was quite eventful. Got an email from my aunt, who has been in lockdown at her senior apartment for two weeks. While I was composing a reply, FedEx showed up with the facial tissues that I had ordered from Walmart. Score! Then had a Zoom meeting with our social club. Then, for the first time since this all started, we got takeout for dinner. Korean BBQ. We both like to cook, but that was a nice change.

I like the separation between the hopper and the fire box. Looking forward to your perfect brisket!!!

I did four hours of Zoom this morning for United Way Allocation presentations. It is truly amazing how well it works.
Snow here today and cold enough it stayed on the ground. Making good progress on a couple of builds.

Good evening. Drove up the farm today to check on plants. Between Grand Forks and Warren it looks like lake country. Which is fairly typical spring flood season, but it never fails to impress me. Miles and miles of water instead of dirt.
