Hey sluggards, I’m awake, drinking coffee, and listening to a Dachschund snore. What could be better?

Up, drinking coffee, trying to decide if I have enough stamina for a hike this morning before the rain comes. Did a 2 hour hike late yesterday so, I'm thinking I may sit today out.

Now we know why there's a toilet paper shortage.
Good morning. Sunny but cool. At least there's not the wind we had yesterday. Did my weekly trash run, stopped at the Ace Hardware and got a gallon of vegetation killer I can put in the driveway if I get ambition and a bag of garden soil that Mary said she wanted but I'll bet I'll need to do more with it than take it out of the car. That too will require ambition and I'm tapped out just now.
Have a safe Saturday.

Misty morning in the 40s, tulips beginning to bloom, rhubarb leafing, must be spring.
Better days y'all

Good Morning
Feeling weak this morning even though I got a good nights sleep. I didn't eat a whole lot yesterday except for dinner, chicken wings with homemade Buffalo sauce, salad with Litehouse chunky blue cheese dressing and fries. .
I need exersize so I've been doing a search on recumbant trainers but they are all too expensive, maybe a used one which I will research for later today. Sometimes people give them away just to get rid of them. If gyms were open I'd go there.
Stay home, be safe.

Good morning. Cloudy with a chance of showers here. They'd be welcome. Have a good day.

Walking is the perfect recuperative exercise. I do that as much as possible around the house and short walks down the street.

Walking is the perfect recuperative exercise. I do that as much as possible around the house and short walks down the street. Perfect. Give yourself credit. When you are recuperating from a major medical event, you want to compare yourself to your healthy self. That can be a very discouraging comparison. Don't go there. Know that every little bit helps.

My day has gone kittywampus. I was going to get the utility trailer, and take it and my daughter to the horse barn to get some amended dirt for her garden. My entire job was to tow the trailer, and maybe pet some horses. I like horses. She would do the dirt part.
But she’s just called, she has some special chicken breed that she got as eggs in the mail and they are starting to hatch and she needs to be there in case they need help. Her plan is to breed this batch and then sell them to other batshit crazy chicken lovers.
So no horses for me.

“the streets of the great cities lay naked the people in their boxes, isolated but in the countryside the thrum of nature continues unabated.”
That's something Adrian Belew wrote this morning; I copied from FB.
I think I'm going to take the weekend off. I'm just tired of work. It will still be there on Monday, and I can hit it hard then.
