Good morning
Not so good really. Very unstable today and must use a walker. Got meds and some food in me. We'll see if that helps.

Good morning. We'll have cloudy skies, 50s-70s, chance of showers. All's well. Enjoy your day.

It’s going to be sunny and upper 60’s by this afternoon. The new grass needs mowing again. Gotta break down a sh#tload of cardboard boxes and take them to recycling so I can have some space in the garage. More boxes to empty and try to organize. And there is a bunch of plastic bubble wrap I need to figure out what to do with. No one seems to recycle that stuff. Yesterday I mounted some shelving in Anita’s craft room. Now she just has about three times more the amount of craft stuff the room can hold. 😆 and I gave away four chairs on FB marketplace. That worked well.
That’s it from the moving chronicles.

Daughter and fiance came over for dinner yesterday. They're in the process of buying a house and were talking about all the things they're going to need when they finally close on it. Wife informed me last night that she's probably looking at a few grand in dotage, which of course is fine with me.
They're also going to need a lawn mower. So I'm off at lunch to buy me a new Craftsman riding mower so they can inherit a nice Honda push mower.
Overall, a suitably lucrative weekend all around.

Good morning.
Heavy rain, wind and thunder here though so far the thunder has been distant so somebody is getting it worse. It's supposed to last 'til 3 or 4 so I have no plans to go outdoors.
Looked through the Easter candy and the bunny must have forgotten that I can't eat nuts. I suspect I know who gave the bunny the list. There are a few 3-musketeers and Milky Way miniatures and a chocolate bunny so I'll have to live with that.
Still being kind to my esophagus and eating light and soft but it's getting better, no fire after eating so I'll stick with that plan for a few days. I did have some steak last night but cut it up real small and chewed the hell out of it before swallowing. Had some discomfort but nothing serious and slept OK. Hoping the 40mg Omeprazole controls this.
Have a safe Monday and try to stay well. Hope the folks down South weren't in the tornado areas.

Mike If there's a local trash and treasure page on Facebook you can probably post the moving supplies and someone will want them.

Thanks LJ I am feeling better after meds and food. I don''t have much of a appitite and can handle only small amount of food but need to eat more. 4-5 small meals a day don't seem to be the answer so I'll try eating a little as often as possible throughout the day. I've lost a LOT of weight in the last 4 months, 30lbs or more.

Due to Barb's heart condition, blood thinner and other meds, she has to have regular blood tests. She has an appointment tomorrow. We just got a call from Loyola that we are to pull up to the clinic door at the exact time and a waiting nurse will do the test as Barb puts her arm out the window of the car.
I am glad to hear this, but it has made me a bit concerned about my upcoming prostate exam. Luckily, the car has big windows.

Good morning all. Back to the grind today. I am happy to have a grind to get back to, as many people do not.
Paul K posted a picture on FB of him in Hawaii during his Navy days. He looks very relaxed, perhaps on a beach. I am assuming beach relaxation was only for the top of his Navy class, as the beaches available for Mr. Hammond were a little less hospitable.

Say, if you send Millring a photo, he could turn it into one of those Meme things and we could turn it loose on the internet. You would be famous.

This was the first Easter ever, or practically ever, that I have not had Easter eggs and Easter candy. (but I did have a nice big 'all the fixings' omelet with a full plate of hashbrowns). It is also the first Easter since I have had kids that I didn't hide Easter eggs for them (real ones and plastic ones filled with chocolates). But, as they are 24 and 21, they took pretty well. Better than I did. Next year, damn it, I am going to hide eggs for them again. Twice as many. And as it will be an early Easter, I might even be able to make them dig through the snow for them. I love hiding Easter eggs. Especially when I find an old bird's nest to stick a couple in.
But, this near-month of no candy or Big Macs and fries (and diet coke) has been great for my vitals. My Doc was threatening to put me on Metformin if I didn't get my act together. But now, blood sugar and weight are both down, with fasting blood sugar in the low to mid 90s and weight down a solid ten pounds (maybe even a little bit more). Hmm, maybe diet does matter a little bit.
