Good morning.
Gonna be wet all week here according to the forecast. Good week for guitar practice but I let all my fake nails break off in my work gloves yesterday and don't know when I'll get an appointment at the nail shop so that might not happen. Tarrega supposedly played with finger tips not nails and I used to do that so maybe I'll try anyway.
I put the pool opening on hold but Spring is late this year anyway.
Stay safe, well and dry if you can.
YEA!!! the nail shop called. Appointment 10:30 tomorrow morning.

Lots of clouds out here in Platte City, but very little rain. We were forecasted to have rain most of last week, and had a few sprinkles. It was cloudy and cool most of that week, though. We don't have rain in the forecast until Sunday, but will allegedly only see the sun on Wednesday.
I think it's like living on the edge of Mordor but not really.

We had five inches of rain in eastern WI in the last 24 hours . . . and a couple more on the way. I moved my guitars out of the basement last night. We never actually flood, but mopping and wet-vacuuming puddles down there will be the order of the day.

Sitting here in my recliner on a cool, gray morning. Just had the second bird strike of the morning on a window. The last one was a real bang, the bird is lying on the deck, still breathing but otherwise not moving. Not sure what kind it is.

Rain. Lots. Sposed to ran all week. Sheesh.
Coffee and bagel, snoozing dog, Telly on the news. I need to head into a Beaverton this week and get my INR checked.
Not loving the PB lights I put on the guitar a few days back, might try to stop at Portland music and pick up some Nanowebs 80/20 if they have them.

5 inches in the rain gauge but that is all it holds so there could have been more. There are lots of flooded streets & fields around here. News said the Edens was so flooded that people had to swim from their cars to the side of the expressway. That is a lot water(and probably sewage). Stay dry.

All of my gardening efforts on Saturday are now under water. My guess is that everything is a wash out. I just did a full reorder of seeds and will replant it all as soon as the seeds arrive. I really want that Prairie Garden. The good news is that the roses seemed to have survived and there is even a beautiful new bloom.

Good morning. It won't rain here. May and June are our driest months and also, not coincidentally, peak wildfire season. It's supposed to be windy today and tomorrow which doesn't help the fire risk.
Two Harris hawks started hunting in our yard around 6:00. They're cool to watch except for the fact that they come to raid the nests of the resident birds.
Enjoy your day.

Warm and dry. No rain in sight. Crops are going in so fast it is dizzying. In three days, just about everything along the fifty-mile drive between Grand Forks and the farm has been planted. It is unbelievable how fast it can go once it is rolling time.

Good morning Boy did it rain yesterday. DaWife and I went shopping yesterday, I pushed the cart just for the exercise, it got rather full and heavy, that was a mistake. Or maybe not as it was good exercise but maybe too good, I was quite miserable last night, better today. Down to the shop and try to get some work done. Pine Island 82F A good memory

No rain here. Just pure gorgeousness. Back to the garden to plant a couple more shorter term sweet corn varieties. The Silver Queen I have coming up is a full season, and I don't like to wait. Silver Queen

Rain here, too, but not too bad. The rest of the week looks good. Of course, I'm stuck in clinic, so what do I care?

I talked to Gretchen last evening, she had been in Milwaukee earlier in the day, and said there was quite a bit of flooding.
