So, are you saying Tuesday's just as bad?
I still miss the late Howard Duane Allman.
My entire department from the job (now reduced from 87 to 72) is scheduled to have a Zoom meeting today. I assume each talking head will be about the size of a pea on my screen. I am grateful to still be employed.
Have a pleasant day anyway, folks.

Good morning. It's not raining here for a change but it is windy and cool. The rain comes back tonight.
I'll get new acrylic nails at 10:30 and then hope to spend the day with a guitar and a nail file. The boss might have different plans but I think she's planning to work on a quilt for her twin sister.
Stay safe and as dry as you can.

Overcast and dry. Coffee is dripping. I have plans for the day. Big plans. I will shower and shave. Then I’ll put some clean laundry away. After all that excitement, who knows what possibilities await?

News from daughter 2 is she got the 'group' that she wanted, which is a grad school lab that will determine her next couple years (and thesis?).
Computational genomics, part of medical bioinformatics. I can't explain, but she's excited about it.

I got a run in before the rain, though I'm watching the radar and the storms seem to be petering out on their way northward. As you know, my house is 150 years old. I am forever discovering things about it that I never knew. In an upstairs room there's this great big wardrobe I never noticed before. When I opened it, some snow blew into the room. I think I'm going to haul it off to the thrift shop, see if I can get a few bucks for it. It looks old.

I don't know where I read this story about the Fillmore East cover photo but it goes like this: The photographer had been trying to get a good pic all day without success. Much later in the day Duane spots his favorite dealer on the street. He dashes over makes a quick exchange and hurries back to his seat cupping his recently acquired fix in his hand. The band breaks out into laughter as Duane kinda smirks. Click, the moment becomes part of Rock and Roll history.

Good morning. I have a customer at 10:30, some very minor work. I'm working on a few of my guitars before I dive into the pile of customer guitars waiting. I want to be sure my skills are up to par first. So I'm going to finish up a H182 Sovereign that I started about 6 months ago. The peghead on this guitar had a plastic overlay that had cracked and fallen off taking the Harmony logo with it. I finally found a replacement online and will order that today while I get the rest of the guitar done. Not the one I'm working on, it's from the Harmony Database.

Why don't you take a peek inside before you haul it out. There might be something interesting. Just go in a few steps. A few steps can't hurt.

Good morning. We're having a slightly cooler spell. It was 65 when I got up and should reach the high 80s.
Enjoy your day.

Miserable weather. Made a trip to the cemetery this morning to put flowers on my wife's grave. Will try to get the yard mowed this afternoon.

More beauteous sunshine, more things to get planted in the garden, more grass to mow. Still have three cold beers in the fridge. Works for me.
