Water, water everywhere. All rivers, streams, ponds, and lakes are about 5 times their normal size. We were at Loyola in Maywood, IL yesterday and just getting to the hospital was a challenge due to all the flooding in Brookfield and Riverside. Luckily, we are high and dry. Many others are not so lucky. Wear dry socks stay off the levee!

Good day. Gonna be gorgeous here today, high in the 70s and lots of sun. My dandelions are flourishing.
My link to the mothership's computers is broken, so I've alerted the propeller-heads downtown. Of course this happens on my busiest workday of the week.

Looks like it's Hump Day in Amish country, too.

No flooding here but it's cold and windy and there may be some tidal flooding due to the east winds. We're safely 20 or 30 feet above mean high water. Got my acrylics rebuilt yesterday but had them left a little long so I could shape them. Filing was taking too long so I got out the Dremel tool and sanding drums. I guess my Dremel runs faster than the ones they use at the nail shop because anytime I slipped off the nail I hurt the finger tips. They're better this morning. Stay high and dry, high in the altitude sense, not the addict sense.

Good morning, all.
Weather is nice here at the moment. I checked my container garden yesterday, and was pleased to see that I should have my first picking of green beans in a few days.
We have ramped up a COVID testing center at our clinic, so life is getting pretty busy around here.

Good morning. It's beautiful here. It was 57 when I left the house early for a hike and will top out at 87.
This is my wife's last day of work. She decided some time ago to retire at the end of the current school year and we're there. Some adjustments will be in order for both of us.
It'll be a fairly busy day for me. Enjoy yours.

Good morning.
Took in a guitar for a pickup install yesterday. I won't go into why other than to say the customer wanted the jack installed in the side of the guitar. Haven't done one of those in a long time. So I made a large round patch from thin birch plywood, glued that inside where the jack would go and then did the install. This way there is less chance of cracking the side when the cord gets hit. I'll restring the guitar this morning and it will get picked up this afternoon. Needed income.

Good Morning. It's pumpkin day (and squash and gourd). So, it is up to the farm. Casper loves trips up to the farm. He says he needs to go up at least once a week in order to keep the woods clear of wolves. He does good work. Haven't seen a wolf in years.

Another day 80° Blue skies with a breeze Waiting for a plumber.... tankless electric hot water isn’t working. Perhaps.... I can see the Plumber’s crack ass with low blue jeans. There’s a lot of those pictures and jokes. I had some cereal - bananas raisins sugar milk- with a spoon. Maybe some of it will be on my TV news - Puerto Vallarta. Enjoy your days That’s a wave. I don’t have socks. I have two legs

This is my wife's last day of work. She decided some time ago to retire at the end of the current school year and we're there. I wish her well, Don. I can't honestly remember what she did, but reading your post did remember education. I'm part of a group of retired educators that calls itself "Everyone is retired except Todd", and we keep in close contact. A school psyche, a couple teachers, a custodian, a couple secretaries.... We enjoy our time together and it's been going on for several years. We make sure we have lunch several times a year, and since everyone had been locked down have been sending emails and "replying all" frequently. I highly suspect Diane will be doing something similar.

So we got another yard of blended soil and built and planted another raised bed today. Tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, cukes, and some bamboo into a few half Jack Daniels barrels. My back is feeling it tonight. But it’s looking good in the backyard, and the wife is happy, which counts for something.
Gonna play my guitar after dinner.
“ Good morning Mr. Benson, I see your looking well. If I had me a shotgun, I’d blow you straight to Hell.”
