Exciting day today. I'm sitting in my comfy blue recliner, wondering which movie to play from smile/amazon, and sipping coffee and nibbling on fresh fruit. BTW, CaraCara Oranges are fabulous. Next day, same as the last. For excitement I'll take a stroll on Tracy Lane.

Good morning.
The pool service is supposed to be here today to open it up. This is the first time I haven't done it myself so I'll be interested to see what's left for me to do after they think they're done. They closed it. Hope it all works. Could use some sun but may have to settle for cloudy and 70-something.
Have a safe Friday and stay out of the cities.

It’s horrible. Another hot day here, maybe 90 degrees. Water the garden early. Mike

I think once they're done and gone you'll be left with some version of, "Well shit - I could have done that." Hopefully there won't be much left for you to do, it will have been done faster than you could have done and the only aches and pain you will have after opening the pool will be to the wallet area.

Greetings from Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, AL. It is on top of a "mountain" just east of HV. I put quotes on it as by Western standards it's barely a foothill but in Alabama it's a mountain. Doesn't matter that it's not the Rockies or the Sierra Nevada to someone who has been stuck in friggin Orlando for months, it's an alpine paradise.
We await the arrival of Baby Dottir and her SO. Faithful Wife is an organizer and make-it-work-somehow genius. The young couple have many obstacles to overcome: short notice, existing apartment lease, old car, two large dogs, strange new town, on and on the list goes. Lucky for them Little Red is on their team. I am next to useless so it's good she can take up my slack.
Anyway, gotta work, phone is blowing up and cell service is spotty.
Laters...

Greetings from Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, AL. Several years ago Dar and I detoured through Huntsville on our way to FL so we could stop by Shannon's. As we were climbing that mountain you're atop, we noticed a roadside shrine/marker indicating the sad spot where some poor fella had gone over the side and plunged to his death. The name on the marker was "Cliff". I turned to Dar and said, "Well, duh."

Every night before I go to bed, I go to the kitchen and say “Good Night Cowboy.” That is how I signed off on all of my emails during the time we were online getting to know one another and on every evening email I sent during our courtship. He would respond back, “Good Night Sweetheart,” The day he died, I sent a final email, “Good Night Cowboy, I will always love you. Come visit me in my dreams.” He did that two nights after he died. He was wearing his cowboy hat and jean jacket. I noticed his hands were still swollen as they were in the hospital. He had a cigarette in his hand. I suspect I know what many of you are thinking, but I was overjoyed to see that cigarette. I knew he would be comfortable on his journey.
I got my wish again last night. I saw Lar in my dreams. He was sitting at a desk wearing the beautiful blue shirt I had bought him at Lands’ End for his birthday. He thought I bought it because I knew he liked the color blue. I really bought it because the blue matched his eyes perfectly. His eyes mesmerized me from the day I met him. In my dream, he looked at me with those blue eyes and he smiled. He was happy to see me. My internal alarm clock allowed me an extra 45 minutes in bed this morning to enjoy that dream.
It’s gonna be a good day!!!

Finally a bright sunny day. A few things to do today in preparation for my big trip tomorrow, driving to my daughter's in Wisconsin. We'll have a socially distanced birthday/high school graduation party for daughter and grandson. They all love Fareway's home made brats, so I'll be taking a cooler full of brat patties and other good meat up to them. All my work has been canceled through July.

Had a visit from an in law that lives in California. His take on NH. Your mountains we would call hills, our lakes you would call ponds. Semi accurate I guess.

Spectacular sunrise this morning from the deck. I pushed the color filters a little on edit, but not much. Those little black things in the distance? F*****g horses.

Good morning. We started at about 75 and the weather service says we'll hit 111. That's almost a record high for this date. Normal would be in the 90s.
I've been pruning while outdoor work is still pleasant. A load of laundry is next. Enjoy your day.

Good morning.
Another lousy nights sleep so I'll get a nap later.
Looting and burning is still going on. I was raised in LA and was there during the Watts riots, this is nothing compared to that but still scary. A lot of people got killed or seriously hurt then.
Down to the shop to see if I can get some work done. No overlay decals for the Sovereign yet.

Hi, y’all.
We have a rehearsal dinner to host tonight, but I don’t have any real plans otherwise.
