Getting our new bed today. Moving from a queen to a king size. Space is the place.

Good morning.
Warm here finally. Still getting the pool clean but I may be forced to go in it today. I haven't checked the water temp yet.
The shore is a little slow but I hear there are protests planned this weekend. I'll stay home but I don't think there will be any trouble. The protest, if peaceful is fully supported as far as I can tell. OTOH, the beaches are supposed to open tomorrow.
Have a safe Thursday.

Good morning. This is the last day of an excessive heat warning and we'll be glad to see it go. I was buying groceries at 6:00 and have a Zoom breakfast at 8:00. This afternoon I'll mostly stay where there's air conditioning. Have a good day, everyone.

First bike ride of the season this morning, made it a little over 8 miles. Will gradually work up to where I can stand so sit on that narrow seat for a couple hours. Also gave myself a haircut this morning and posted a new video on YouTube. Grocery shopping is next.
For Todd. Urbana Town Center, residential and commercial lots available.

Think the fuel pump died in the chevy pickup, and of course its 30 gal tank is almost full, maybe its just a loose wire.
Better days y'all

I'm 47 minutes, 2 phone calls, and an erratic(not erotic) chat session with Brittany in and counting working to update my credit card on file info with Intuit for Quickbooks. The last thing she texted me was "okay one momemt" which happened 9 minutes ago. This is a lot of damn work to give someone my money.

Well, I have been pretty stable health-wise since the middle of March when all my evaluations for listing on the donor liver list were good. Now I need to get a match and a donor.
Have good ones.

Intuit NEVER has a problem getting my credit card info updated, with our without my help. At least they always seem to charge me, even if I've had my card replaced.

Getting our new bed today. Moving from a queen to a king size. Space is the place. Mike We could use a King. But that would mean a new headboard. And that would mean a new bedroom set. Nothing wrong with the 40 year-old old one. Still looks great. So, I endure Sue's occasional knee in my back and toughen myself against the snowball effect of change.

I wanted to get my wife a bicycle for her birthday, which was this week. How could I know that dependable entry-level bikes are nowhere to be found? The bike shops within 120 miles are sold out of bikes, except for expensive enthusiast bikes and hard-core mountain bikes, and I'm not going to buy some big-box two-wheeled death trap. Apparently, cycling has become very popular since the COVID activity restrictions went into effect.

Add bikes to that list of "oh, of course" shortages. Hand sanitizer and wipes and masks were no-brainers, canned goods understandable, toilet paper a minor surprise, but I had a WTF moment a couple weeks ago when I passed by the bike section in Target and noticed it was empty. I'll bet exercise gear of all kinds has also vanished. I know that C. sorely misses her nearly-daily gym sessions. (Or she'll be sore when they resume.) And we really don't have the room for a stationary bike, even if we could find one.

Apparently, cycling has become very popular since the COVID activity restrictions went into effect. Saw the CEO of a bike company, Kent maybe, on a financial channel yesterday saying they can't keep up with the demand. They sell a lot through Walmart and he said when bikes come in people wait in line for the assembly and take them as fast as they can assemble them. He's selling something like 10,000 a week. His factory, somewhere down South is working at a reduced level because of the distancing requirements but if he could make more he could sell more.

For Todd. Urbana Town Center, residential and commercial lots available. Thanks! You must have slowed down to read the sign. No rain here, but just 40 miles south there's lots of flash flooding due to 5 inches of rain in a very quick amount of time.
