Somewhere in the bowels of the DNC apparatus, a strategist is wringing his/her hands, knowing this madness will drive votes to the RNC/Trump

Act Blue is the DNC? Not sure about that. It is definitely liberal leaning, but it gathers and redistributes funds as far as I know.

justthenews.com/accountability/donations-black-lives-matter-are-funnelled-through-democratic-fundraising-groupFrom the article: The donation page linked from the central Black Lives Matter website actually reroutes users to a secure ActBlue donation form. “ActBlue Charities is a registered charitable organization formed to democratize charitable giving,” the form states. On its website, ActBlue says it takes a 3.95% “processing fee” from “all transactions,” after which the donated money "goes straight to the candidate or organization." The company stipulates that any donations that are rejected by an organization, or go unclaimed for more than 60 days, "will be re-designated as a contribution to ActBlue." Those contributions are "generally to support its social welfare activities," the organization states. It is unclear just how much money ActBlue has processed for Black Lives Matter. On the Black Lives Matter donation page, ActBlue states that users can obtain the fundraising group’s “latest financial report” by emailing the company. Yet when asked, the company would not provide that report. “If you are hoping to review the financial report of any specific nonprofit fundraising via ActBlue Charities, we’d encourage you to reach out to them directly,” a representative said via email on Wednesday when asked for ActBlue’s most recent financial report. ActBlue did not respond to further queries repeatedly asking for the report.

…You can see a lot by looking. Or as Yogi Berra famously put it, “You can observe a lot just by watching.”

PACs and superPACs. Everybody's got one. Or two. Or many. Reminds me of those calls I get from the police/sherriff fundraisers, where you can hear the rest of the boiler room in the background.

I didn't want to put this in the "meme" thread, since that's a "no politics zone", so this thread seemed like as good a place as any.

I didn't want to put this in the "meme" thread, since that's a "no politics zone", so this thread seemed like as good a place as any. the serious question is "why?" It's a fact, and it is stunning. What makes George Floyd a bigger hero than Martin Luther King?

What makes George Floyd a bigger hero than Martin Luther King? I can answer that, but I won’t, because I’ve probably abraded enough nerve endings for the first half of 2020.

I don't remember anyone literally bowing a knee to Martin Luther King. What I know of him, he probably wouldn't have wished anyone to. But rich and elite white people and woke young people are all kneeling before George Floyd. Christianity Today is calling for the church to "pay reparations" and "repentance is not enough". Christianity freaking Today.
