Monday Monday It’s a sign or a song There must be a shitload Monday songs
I’m first first first
I’m still vertical awake Reading a book Writing a large volume with mellifluous words. (I lied)
It’s all just jumbled thoughts I’ll have to get it all ‘cut & paste’
Enjoy your Monday days.

A light rain falling as I sit in my recliner drinking coffee. I have a bunch of CDs I need to drop off at the post office and I need groceries, other than that, a quiet day.

Catch up day at the radio station today. Quarterly royalty reports, uploading our interview series to the web, swapping out some hardware, syndicated show updates ... We have a webcam image at the bottom of our homepage that does a pretty good job of explaining why we live here ... www.klzr.orgI believe we are the smallest radio station in CO, that comes with its own set of challenges. cheers

Good morning. I just had a very pleasant walk in the neighborhood. I'll soon have a less pleasant time applying another dose of Roundup to a bed we're reclaiming from Bermuda grass and vinca. During the hot hours I'll read a little more of a biography of Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow. I dislike Chernow's writing but Hamilton's so interesting I keep reading anyway. Enjoy your day.

Good morning.
Another nice day here. So far I like Summer. The pool was good yesterday and should be good for the next few days anyway.
Talked to my Son yesterday of course and they're coming down for a couple of days for the 4th. Hope the weather holds. He said the Maryland governor is letting people cross the state line now. They were barricaded and policed so you had to show ID and give a reason to cross. Guess this is phase 2. Their HOA pool isn't open yet and may not open this year so they want to come use ours. I guess their poll pass is still OK and he said he'd bring Scotch.
Have a safe Monday.

Good morning
Just laid out my med cases for the week, morning, evening and mid-day, takes about a half hour, I take a lot of meds every day. Now I'll take a shower without the dumb ass safety stool just a wall bar if I need it. Got a old customer coming by with a emergency repair. Probably a dead battery or bad jack. Good to be useful again.

Beautiful day. Lunch outside with an old friend later. Shop work to do but criminal to be indoors on a day like this.
Son from Denver just announced a visit in a couple of weeks with the family. Best news for months.
Was out paddling yesterday and saw this eagle circling at about 100-150’ and all of a sudden it plummeted to the lake, dropped the flaps and stuck out it’s talons and came up with a fish. Hightailed it back to the nest. Damn I would like to see that well.

Yes, we bought KLZR's full power license when we went from low power (300 watts) to full power (6,000) a few years ago. The FCC doesn't allow you to just turn up the juice :-) We had the option to change the call sign but decided we kind of liked it.

Back from buying a few groceries. Our first outing since Tucson started requiring masks. Saw one guy in the store on a scooter without a mask. Another who took his off before he was out the door. Another who was wearing a mask, but didn't have it over his nose.
Chilled shrimp for dinner. Cocktail sauce for Mr. H, but only lemon for me. I don't like covering up the flavor of the shrimp. Probably some crackers and carrot sticks on the side.

A new Thai restaurant just opened by my office, so I got a take out order of Pad Thai. The noodles and sauce are good but the crumbled peanuts are like rubber! I want them to be successful, so I called and in the nicest way (I hope) let them know.
KB - I would love to wake up to that view. What a wonderful looking valley and mountains.

One for the minnesota people--north shore, dawn: Rainy Lake, International Falls (aka Frostbite Falls) Has so many islands with truly rustic cabins, one has to haul potable water and a generator in and haul trash out. The US/Canadian Border runs pretty much right down the center of the lake. Except at Kettle Falls where one looks south to see Canada
