Just bumping around the site a bit. Did you know that Doug still has a Yamaha Stagepass and a Taxi amp for sale?

Good morning. There's a rocket launch scheduled for around 9 this morning that we might be able to see from here. It's a big 3 stage one for a change. Made the trip to Salisbury yesterday and Mary's eyes are still stable which is all we can hope for. Got to go back in 6 weeks. At first I wasn't allowed in with her but I brought a guitar and a folding chair so I found a shady area on the north side of the building and practiced for half an hour or so then went back to the car and got the A/C cranked up. It was hot. Then, when she went to the examination room to see the actual doctor, I was allowed in. Stopped at a farm stand on the way home and got some vegetables. Overall, not a bad trip. Today looks decent. Have a safe Wednesday. The rocket launched at 9:46 EDT. Here's the NASA video but of course the actual launch is at the end. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUUc6rYpm4U

Good morning. I'll soon take my Jeep in for an oil change. Our unusually hot weather is now predicted to last through the weekend. Then it will drop to normally hot, which is hot enough.
Enjoy your day.

This is some nice mtn biking, but what impresses me is the drone's flying/tracking ability. I know there are drones that you can set to "follow" you, but this is another level.
One poster where I borrowed this thought there was some human control, too, but even then, someone who can fly like that has drone-piloting down pretty well. (And there are lots of cuts, so who know how many drone crashes there were.)
Of course go full screen.

Is it going to sit up on cement blocks like that, dug out underneath?

Too bad the drone couldn't have gotten shot of the hungry pack of wolves that must have been chasing this guy.

Near perfect summer weather. Currently (10:30 AM) it is 75F. A high projected at 83F. And an evening low of 62F (as a courtesy, that is something, something, and something Celsius.) And humidity is pleasant, dew point of 54F (that is something or other Celsius)

Love the bike video. Back in the late 80’s I was up in Jasper for a week and rented a mountain bike for a few days. Back then it was a real subculture. I was a hard core roadie but had read about what those guys were doing and wanted to try it.
The guys directed me to some of the single track they rode up in the mountains. When I checked it out I thought they were crazy, looked like what that guy was riding in the video.
I spent most of my time on the road.😊

I had a hard time getting up a mountain road in a car. I can’t imagine trying it on a bike.

Hope to have the firewood in by the end of today. That clears the way to actually getting up into the mountains. That's why we live here ... been way too busy with getting stuff done so far this year.
Cheers

Good morning.
Waiting for lab results. I am getting some shop time in today but at 3:00 it WILL be nap time. So much work waiting and I'm just too tired to do it. My appetite is returning, Bill's pork ribs & beer helped that but I'm still skinny as a rail.
Speaking of beer, DaWife found Corona ponies while in Crosslake and really liked that bottle size so I think I'll find her some. Pony size bottles are nice if you drink slowly as the smaller size is still cold when you finish it.
Back to the shop.
