High clouds this morning instead of marine layer, don't think it'll rain, but you never know.
Better days y'all

Errand day. The wife’s car needs gas so I’m heading to Wilsonville Costco for gas and a few groceries. Found out yesterday that there is a place to put into the Willamette river very close to our new home that I did not know abourpt, so I might go paddle the SUP this afternoon. Played guitar last night until my fingers were sore. Yeah, that took like a whole half hour. 😂😂😂

Good morning Kinda snoozy this morning with Riley kitty on my lap, he's says it's morning nap time but I've got things to do. After a shower to get rid of the Ode De Troll I'll have some more coffee and a little breakfast. Shopping first so I can get there early before the crowds appear. Then some shop time. Speaking of which I got a solid 4 hours in yesterday before getting worn out. As I'm typing this I hear DaWife in the background, she's working and I'm sure the between client conversation to herself is not what it would be if she was in the US Bank office. She works wire transfer fraud and most of those frauds, but not all, are because people are downright simple or greedy. After listening to her for many years I've learned that really greedy people are easy to defraud. That girl could make a sailor blush. Pine Island 88F.

Continuing Ed day from home today, learning about farm taxation. Good stuff, good instructors. Raining like an SOB, which does not bode well for my jar of sun tea which is currently sitting on the kitchen table. Luckily, my wife picked beans yesterday. We have a decent amount of beans and jalapenos, two cukes (one giant), a couple of tomatoes and a green pepper. Unfortunately the tomatoes aren't the greatest - some soft spots. Perhaps should have picked them earlier, but I was waiting for them to get redder.
I was wondering if I was supposed to wait for the red hot chili peppers to turn red before picking (every website I saw said "pick when ripe") but a few of them are turning red, so I'm glad I waited.
The dog has been a little unsettled by all of the thunder this morning. He's been carrying around his dragon squeakie toy, which I call Daryl Dragon. I was the only person in the house who got the joke.

Good morning, everyone. Enjoy your day. As I heard someone say recently, we can't control the situation but we can control our response to it.
