Sliding into the weekend. Hope everyone is well. I know I have posted this before, but it harks back to a time most of us were young and a hell of a lot more carefree....

I’m up. Coffee is dripping. Going to lunch with the old farts today fir the first time in quite a while. We are meeting at a park, it’s bring your own food, chair, mask and stay at least six feet away from each other. Hopefully it will be fun and safe.

Cloudy drizzly morning, but on the upside it lets me watch practice for the British GP guilt free.
Better days y'all

Good morning.
Intermittent passing storms is the forecast here for a couple of days. We need the rain. Then there's that hurricane no one can pronounce supposed to be headed this way about Tuesday. We don't need that.
Cleaned the gas grill yesterday. According to the video I watched from Weber on how to clean the grill you're supposed to do it after each use. Well, it's been 13 years or so, so it doesn't look new but better than it was and the new stainless steel parts look better than the rusty stuff they replaced but it won't last long. I'm not planning to make a hobby out of that chore.
The gas can ran out while I was testing the burners after I cleaned them, of course so I just got back from getting that refilled. We have a break in the rain just now but it won't last much past noon. I plan to rest today. Happy last day of July. Hope August is better. Have a safe Friday.

The rains have rained themselves out, a glimpse of heat today. Was out with the dog really early, a bike ride after that. Some nice photography: coldwater.science/project/scyphozoa (click on the creatures at the bottom)

Good morning. We're still on vacation in the high country. Diane saw a young bull elk on her morning walk. We'll hike a pretty canyon nearby this morning and then visit a brewery in Flagstaff this afternoon. Enjoy your day.

After pricing 700 square feet of Trex decking my path is clear today.
You all have fun, I'll be painting the deck.
Cheers

Good morning
Got quite a bit of domestic and commercial work done yesterday, hopefully I'll repeat that today.
I also filled the tank on my Ford yesterday for the first time since I got out of the hospital, ain't been driving much but it was below a 1/4 full and DaWife has a thing about letting the tank get below a 1/4 full. But in her defense it's a good practice in the winter to keep your tank filled.

Had a root canal this AM in St Cloud. Those Endo guys are good!
With all the cool gadgets they have nowadays I would strongly think about it if I was young and considering careers. Good money, cool tools, and no nights or weekends!

Still hot in Tucson. Set a record yesterday at 110, but a few degrees cooler at our house.
After trying to get the Shingrix vaccine for literally years and being on two waiting lists, we got a tip that the Walgreen's near us has it. Decided to check with Walmart due to how our insurance works and they have it too. So we're off to get that and pick up a prescription for Mr. H. My question is if one of us notices side effects, how will we know whether they're from a reaction to the vaccine or we have COVID-19? The list of symptoms is similar. Timing will be a clue. Then how do we answer the screening questions at upcoming medical appointments? My next one is almost 3 weeks away, but Mr. H has one in a week and a half.

Good day, yet another idyllic weather window in a week of mid-80s temps, low humidity, rain only at night and light winds. I've been enjoying my new lawn mower.
Worked only a half-shift today, so I am free until Monday morning. First thing I did was run to Culver's, where I am pleased delighted thrilled to report that pot roast has returned! O joy that knows no bounds!
