2004 Historic 1956 Les Paul. Wolfetone Mean/Meaner P90's, Throwback 50's wiring harness. Baseball bat neck. It's a peach Love the blue pinstriping! More of an alien radiation puke green. I've often wondered what kind of diminutive alien sweat low slung guitar punk rocker pounded on this thing in the 20+ years before I got it as no way my arm rubs that area. I'm working on wearing the paint off of the rest at the widest part of the bout. Case and guitar reeked of smoke so it was a gigger from back in the day.

Just did that pair in a LP SPL for a customer. What did you think? I had the original Gibsons, Some Lollar 50's low winds, and finally the Wolfetones in this guitar over a 12 month span. The Wolftones took it to another level and it became a guitar I like to a lifer guitar I love. Though I did have the foofy boutique wiring harness done at the same time. With that harness there is a lot of high end retained when rolling off the volumes which I like. My go-to is this one. It's a 94 Standard, but it has a lot of work on it: - Zhangbucker pickups hand wound by a nice guy just up the road in Weston. When I say hand wound, I mean that. No spindle. Just a bobbin and his hands. I was floored, because he charges about what Seymour Duncan charges. www.zhangbucker.com- Stewmac #149 frets. .046 tall by .103 wide. That was probably the best "fix" because the original frets were so low they were unusable by me. - Grover tuners. - Faber bridge posts. (Marty, I installed those myself and used a hand drill with a painter's tape depth marker on the bit. High adventure!) - Strap locks. - Some vanity plastic changes - switch tip, truss rod cover, knobs n' pointers.

I've always loved those mirror reflector knobs on a Les Paul

Dual screens this AM. Winged Foot on one, Le Tour the other.
I love road worn guitars. If only they could talk eh? I bet some of those old Epi and Gibson archies with all the finish worn off the middle of the neck have some stories.

Just another reasonable beautiful thoughtful day I’m not sure what I’m gonna do. Yesterday - I had a frog that was my sentry. It was incredibly raining - it was almost a river I guess the frog had a break as well. he’s gone but he sure took a huge dump

The foofy harness has treble bleed caps/resistors. Something I've been using lately on volume controls. Just a parallel cap and resistor wired from the wiper arm to the hot side of the volume pot. I bought enough to last me for a long time for cheap from a electrical supply but you can get single units from Stew-Mac.
