We all knew, deep down, that what we needed was an R-rated, Mel Gibson Santa Clause movie.

Yeah, I'll watch it. I enjoy Walter Goggins. Mel, not so much, but I'll watch.

We all knew, deep down, that what we needed was an R-rated, Mel Gibson Santa Clause movie. Ha, ha, ha. I really like "Jingle Bells" in a minor key.

"I've come for your head, Fatman!!!"
"You think you're the first?"
Eastwood-esque perfect Hollywood cheese, right there.

Interesting concept. It has the potential to be fun or really, really bad.
Not sure if the kid as master criminal works. But the rest is believable.

Believable? Are you crazy.. . . . , (I hope so).
I recorded the audio form the Jingle Bells sequence starting with "I'm coming for your head, Fatman!" I think I'll put it in my Christmas Playlist. **smirk** Plus I want to see if I can work up the minor key Jingle Bells thing.

Dialed up Fatman last night.
Interesting film. Hard to classify it. The plot is probably best described as "surreal", but the direction and cinematography don't mirror that surrealism.
I can't think of much I can talk about that's worth mentioning and also not a spoiler. There is some clever and subtle stuff here. Worth a watch.

A good Mel Gibson film is a stretch but I guess with enough thrust even a pig will fly.
