You are correct, sir. This year needs to go away. Unfortunately it's going to be one of those years that 20 years from now we'll be saying "remember 2020", and younger folks will think we are ancient. Like when we were younger and people mentioned 1929 and 1941, and we compared that to when the Black Plague landed in Europe in 1347. Or like we do remember, like 2001. It's definitely a bookmark year that changed our lives, and it needs to go away.
Aside from general history, it's been a bad one for a bunch of us individuals. It's the fourth day of November, and I'm already anticipating next spring, when the air smells fresh and flowers are blooming.

Sorry to be such a sad sack but this year has SUCKED and by some weird twist of fate or just plain dumbass luck I'm still here to finish it.
They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I say getting stronger can also hurt like hell.

My wife reminded me, "Don't make the mistake of thinking all of this will go away when the calendar changes. None of this shit is going away."

I have to admit, I am so stressed out. Going shopping for groceries freaks me out. Idiots walking round with schnoze hanging out. What is it about 6 feet distance you don’t understand? And half the country can vote for a sociopath who OKed a scheme to permantly separate children from their parents. If I was god heads would roll.
Aside from that, everything’s great.

It's been a very difficult year for many people. I've had my own difficulties but they're dwarfed by those of others. Let's hope things improve.

That's the best view. I need to try to adopt that.

Thank you. That does mean much. We do appreciate the idea that such concerns can be posted here. We aren't been the only ones, not even close.
