Regarding "the Palestinian woman", I was presenting an argument as to why some Democrats might vote for Biden but not for Ms. Tlaib. To do so, I tried imagine and then present their perspective, (not mine). And for some Democrats, particularly conservative and pro-Israel Democrats, I surmised that their decision to not vote for Ms. Tlaib may have been informed by the words "Palestinian" (heritage), "gang of four", and "anti-Israel". I presented an imagining of their choice using their words.
My only view of Ms. Tlaib is as follows: She likely doesn't represent my interests, nor should she. Her job is to represent, and serve, the interests of her district, and as she garnered 78% of the vote, it is safe to say she is doing so extremely well. That's her job, that's democracy. Ms. Tlaib is exactly where she should be and doing what she should be doing.
And if not for Sam's Winter Lager, I wouldn't have bothered with any of this nonsense.

It may be useful to understand that there have always been "Never-Trumper" among the Republicans. Rove has always been one of them. So I guess being a Never-Trumper negates Rove's years of experience managing and winning elections for Republicans, his experience with actual recounts and his basic ability to add and subtract? No, but it might make you as skeptical of his word as you ever have been, rather than believing him when he says things you like, and hating him when he says things you don't.

I never hated Rove. He was someone I covered and while I was always cordial with my sources, I never liked them or disliked them. Never socialized with them unless they happened to be in the same place I was. One can say what one wants about Rove, and while I as a citizen can be dismayed at his many contributions to coarsening the political discourse in the U.S., he knows numbers. He knows campaigns. He knows recounts. One must give him his due on that. Then again, it really doesn’t matter what Rove thinks. Trump will never serve a second term, now or in 2024. It isn’t a matter of being a bridge too far. It is a matter of six or seven bridges too far, and to date, Trump’s bumbling band of lawyers haven’t even been able to cross the first bridge. A complete and total lack of evidence will do that to you.
