I changed my password and wrote a post telling people not to accept friend requests from me. I don’t know if there is anything else that needs to be done. |

I received a message from FACEBOOK that my account was cloned and that they had shut the fake account down. I did not understand cloning vs being hacked. The link above was very helpful. |

I got a message saying someone reported that I was being cloned. Farcebook investigated and evidently decided the clone was really me.

My face did get hacked by the dermatologist the other day. And the adhesive from pulling off the bandage when changing the dressings has bruised the skin under my eye and on the bridge of my nose worse than the small slice the doc made. The takeaway: don't put adhesive strips on the bags under your eyes.
I ditched my FB account about 11 or 12 years ago, due to a feeling of impending danger.
