Up and getting ready for a long day of tests at Northwestern. I will be in need of a nap when I get home this afternoon. Looks like a pretty day is shaping up. Enjoy it.

We've had the heat on here a few times, too. Thundershowers coming by now, but it was a nice day--out with the dog twice, bike ride, some chores, pushups, and my wife handled dinner (temaki). And good news: zero covid cases locally for more than a few days, maybe a week.

Good morning. We're in Albuquerque by a generic highway in a chain motel by chain restaurants. Could be anywhere. We'll be off for a hike in a bit before visiting with relatives.

Taters, peppers, onions, topped with two over-easy eggs, doesn't suck. Coffee good, too. Temps will hit the 70s in advance of a cool and rainy Wednesday.

Good morning.
Cheerios and coffee. Now I'll get dressed and start working.
Next time Bill, cook some bacon first.

Golf in Sauk Centre today with two bandmates. Weather looks good.
Pre round cocktail of Tylenol and Advil will be critical.

Coffee with the old farts this morning. Then I will try to stop by Trader Joe’s before the impending fall of civilization for some Of their tomatoe pepper soup and crackers and cheese.

Good Morning Good People
Perhaps the last pleasant day here as well. I am trying to generate enough energy to paint the doorway on the chilly north side of the house.
After 6 weeks of retirement I am going back to work tomorrow. Not really - I will be helping out a friend, an alumna of my last company, on some field work. I will spend a day in a beach town doing easy semi-mindless work and making easy money. In my mind I have already spent said money on guitar stuff.

The heater went on first time this Fall. 63 indoors was too cold for the Wife. I find it too warm. 47 is my boundary. RiffKats practice tonight.

Not sure, Howard, don't think I have ever had manchego.
It's a semi-hard cheese of mostly sheep milk, from Spain. Rich and nutty.

Not sure, Howard, don't think I have ever had manchego. Google Machine says: Similar to Manchego, Iberico is made from a blend of cow's, goat's and sheep's milk. Cheeses are made in the same type of mold as Manchego - hence it has the similar hatched pattern imprinted into its rind - although sometimes the rinds are colored to indicate age.
