Seems like Thursday.
Sitting in on one gig, rehearsing later for a Saturday gig.
Busy, busy, busy.

Checkup today, PSA still non-existent. Out with the dog a couple times, made some small pieces of salmon, salads, and another veggie dish for dinner. And rice. Wife thought it was too much stuff...

Had a great gig yesterday, maybe the most fun/enjoyable I've been involved in. Full house, standing room only and the audience was having fun. About half way through they started singing and dancing and by the time we finished the dancers were everywhere. We did one encore and while they wanted more, we were already 15-20 minutes over our scheduled time so we called it.
Tonight I'll be at the Steel wheels show at CSPS.

Good Morning Good People
Chilly and windy and wet after a pleasant sunny day yesterday. Spent the day yesterday helping a colleague, who is now working independently, with some field work. Easy work and easy money. It was good to yak and to catch up as we were working, but it reinforced how glad I am to be done with the environmental biz.
Forcing myself to do some neglected desk work this morning. Too windy for a planned bike ride, might take the dog for a long walk at a county park.

61° in Northern California - drizzle or raining. I'm barely good morning. I like in the evenings anyway. I'm recovering - the valve surgery - today and I think I'm going to work on Thursday or Friday or Monday. Enjoy your days - pickers/old farts.
I watched two old great flicks - Tequila Sunrise 1988 and The Tempest 1981 - Raul Julia and more actors.......
A normal day…. And we really need the rain.

S’posed to be dry here until this afternoon. Will try to sneak in a little bike ride before it rains. Forcast high is 69-70. Fingers crossed they are right. Also need to try to fix the oven door in the trailer. And that’s pretty much the day.

A friend of mine who was there (you met her) called me yesterday with an absolute rave review of the Cedar River Whalers. You guys were a hit! It turned into fall last night. Yesterday is was upper 70s, again, and today it's going to top out at 54. And it's windy and drizzly. I should be thankful that the warm weather lasted as long as it did.

Just got back from disgorging a full trailer at the dump. Very cathartic.

I suppose after work I will pull out the long ladder and try to get a look at the gutters. My across-the-street neighbor pointed out a tiny tree growing in one of them.
I am frankly a little scared to check it out, as it's a long way to the top (2+ stories), I can't remember how heavy-duty my ladder is, and I'm sure a bit heavier than the last time I was at the top of a tall ladder, not to mention my overall clumsiness.

IF you don't want to climb up there, don't, John. Heights and nervous people don't mix.

Best $1,500 I ever spent was on sealed rain gutters.
