Heading to Door County for another Lighthouse stay. Concertina is packed as is my traveling art studio. My creativity seems to soar during stays in Lighthouses, most likely because I am so relaxed.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

It is very dark here. Storms are rolling in, we have flash flood warnings, and the predictions say 4+ inches of rain due to start this afternoon. Luckily, I finished my ark yesterday. Once I figured out what a cubit was, the rest was easy. Stay above water if you can.

An average gorgeous chilly autumn day here in NH. I wish I lived here. Oh, wait. I do.

Good morning.
A cool 36F out this morning. I might just wear one of my older pair of jeans that are way too large for me now so I can have some long underwear under them. Going to spent at least a little while outside today at a party.
But first breakfast with my girls before they go see Dune, not interested.

You guys finally take them off around July 4th, right?

Still dark here. I didn’t sleep good last night not sure why. I’m thinking a nap will be on the menu later. It’s supposed to pour here today. Is it too early to start drinking? Coffee. I need coffee.

Good morning, clear but chilly here, good day to watch football and the U.S. Grand Prix, maybe do some cooking. The Vikings have a bye week, so I'll watch the Packers and maybe the Bears. Was hoping to get my beard trimmed this morning but the place I've been going to for that halted its Sunday hours, for some reason. Oh, well, what's another day or two?

The rain is just arriving here, suppose to rain all day.
So, I decided to try cooking something new, I guess it could be called a stuffed rump roast. I have a 2.5 lb. Roast that I cut 2 deep slits into. The slots are stuffed with a mixture of chopped onion, green pepper, jalapeno pepper, garlic, salt and pepper.
After the stuffing was in I brazed it in a smoking hot pan and then put it in the slow cooker (on high) where it will be for the next 6-7 hours.
Hopefully it will taste as good as it sounds to me.

Good morning. We're not expecting rain.
We'll attend church this morning and then travel to older daughter's house for homemade pizza. She recently got a pizza oven. It's the first time she's ever shown the slightest interest in cooking and the first time she's been able to feed guests.
Enjoy your day.

It’s Sunday it’s my solitude. It’s raining. I guess it’s seeping the earth. I just woke up. Insomnia. At least I got four hours. Now it’s my pills. And it’s time to eat. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. And I’m still recovering about my surgery. I read what you all said and it seems normal. Enjoy your days

I sang in Latin in front of a couple hundred people yesterday. Not by myself, thankfully. We put on quite a Requiem. Choir, strings, French horns, and an organist we brought in from Baton Rouge, LA.
Also, I planted close to 400 daffodils over the weekend. (normally, a buck to a buck and half a bulb mail order, I got 45 bulbs for ten bucks on sale at Menards (I've planted mail order bulbs from sources top to bottom, gotten them bulb by bulb from bins at local nurseries, and sale-bagged from Lowes and Menards. They all come from the same bulb farms in Holland and elsewhere.)

Today would have been Kim and my 34th anniversary. I am not looking for pity; I am posting this because so many of you have known or met her.
