Foggy & frosty out there. It’s actually pretty. It will get close to 60 today. I wish I was close to 60. Oh well, that’s a different story. I saw a flock of wild turkeys walking around yesterday. They seemed to be taking unnecessary chances considering the time of year. They were eating spilled corn in the farm fields. How hard is it to clean a turkey?

Best way is to skin them, then gut. Keep the legs and breast and dispose of the rest. BTW the wing feathers make great fletching for your homemade arrows.

Got flu-shotted and booster-vaxed yesterday, so I've got that going for me, which is nice. Sposed to hit 50 degrees here today, but be very windy.
As for wild turkeys, they seem to be attracted to Millring types (but then, who isn't?).
p.s. I really don't like Scarlatti harpsichord pieces -- rinky-tinky bullshit! So why does my cable TV Light Classics channel play them so often? And theramin pieces, too -- blech!

Tuesday, that means music practice. I better start looking for my ear plugs, I'm sure Phil will show up again with his banjo.

I was feeling the hike love yesterday after work but apparently the f*****g horses needed some exercise too. So, I got to lead a horse through a 4 mile steep and brushy loop down an elk trail. F*****g horses.

How hard is it to clean a turkey? Depends on how willing they are to get in the shower with you.

It's like you're not even married sometimes Marty. Actually.... hanging a rag soaked in elk estrus off his tail and leading him thru the woods might be a GOOD thing....hmmmmmm.

I'm just like you, got a house full of women. But sometimes you just have to make a stand, just choose your battles carefully. And if you can get someone to remove the antlers you just might get away with it. Then again, they'll just want more horses and the ones you have are already paid for.

Man, I wish I had a horse... and a boil on my ass the size of a golf ball.

I almost had a couple horses once, but alas, it was just two gallstones passing in the night.

Man, I wish I had a horse... and a boil on my ass the size of a golf ball. I would think the pain after the purchase between a horse and a trombone would be similar? If you've been in to the Beer Nuts again it's also likely the smell is about the same.

F*****g horses. Wait a minute, the F-ing horses need exercise, why don't they ride them, isn't that why you have them? Now that's a battle I would choose. The fact that you will loose the battle is not the point, showing them that you will not always be submissive and/or bullied is the point. Things don't have to get out of hand, just need to shake their tree a bit.

Belated good morning. It was 34 when I set out on a hike this morning un the Verde Valley. This afternoon back in Phoenix we'll hit 83, which is seven degrees above normal. It's been a warmer than normal fall. Enjoy your day.

I don't mean YOU, how about the girls that insist on having a F-ing horse? Don't they ride them, isn't that why you have them? Or are they just to look at, brag about, eat like a F-ing horse and create great piles of manure? SHIT! I thought my girls were spoiled.
