Good morrow, friends. I have secured a day away from my usual toils so that I may seek the counsel of my dermatologist later today. We have not met face-to-face for many moons. Hopefully, nothing will need to be sliced from my face. I will then proceed to the area of the South Street Seaport and take my cousins to lunch.
I do love a weekday away from the office.
Fare well this day.

It is 60 degrees right now which will be the high for the day. It’s supposed to be in the 20s tonight.
BTW, morrow means the following day. So,Howard is wishing us a good tomorrow? What’s wrong with a good today? We have to wait a day?

Didn't you teach Middle English in Middle School?

Seize the present day, trusting the morrow as little as may be.

Good luck at the dermatologist’s office, Howard. Last time I was there, they carved about a pound from my neck.

Thanks, LJ. I have not been to the beach in quite a few years and I do wear a hat most of the hot months, even outdoors. However, should carving be necessary, my doc is a wiz with the single-edge razor blade. Additionally, she earned her Masters in English Literature from Yale and her MD from Harvard, so she can communicate quite eloquently about all the little things she finds on my complexion and why they need to be sliced off.
On edit: sometimes she uses that spray thingie to freeze skin abnormalities to death.

The dermatologist told me we are paying for what we did as teenagers. I had some bad burns as a kid. That is what is causing the problems now.

Ditto. Especially when I was working on a kibbutz in Israel, summer 1971. At 7:00 am one day I got a sunburn so bad I was in bed for three days with a fever. The upside of that was the cute young Israeli woman rubbing salve on my purple back. But, as Darrell would have said, "The bill always comes due." There it is.

We had a good gig last night playing background for an event at the local winery. Someone took a picture of us. You have this mental image of yourself as looking younger that is shattered when you see a current photo. We alert folks that if they book us more than two weeks in advance they should have a plan B.

Good morning. Here are a couple of photos from yesterday morning's hike. Autumn in this place consists of pastels. Today will involve odds and ends and catch-up. Enjoy yours.

Good Morrow's Eve to come.
Currently 31F with an expected high of 32F. So, I'll just stay inside a little longer and wait for that 32 to come rolling in before I venture out.

Good morning
If you follow my FaceBook page, and I understand if you don't, I decided to not only finish up some string winders I had left over I also decided to make some humidifiers. Well brass tubing seems to be in very short supply as is aluminum tubing. I would use stainless tubing but they don't seem to make it in the size I need. I'll keep searching, wish they made fake ivory tubing, that would be cool.
Down to my shop for a while and then I'm going to visit a metal stock supplier.
