Friday was okay but it's time to turn the page. Good morning. We'll have 50s-70s which is about normal.
I cooked a pork loin in an oven bag a couple of weeks back so today I'll try a chicken.
Enjoy your day.

Morning. Busy weekend. A family Thanksgiving tomorrow afternoon at my daughters. We'll have another side of the family event on Thursday. Got a friends party tonight. I'm playing in church tomorrow morning. And I've got a 3 hour gig on Monday. I was going to share it with a guy, but he informed me last night his wife wasn't feeling well and tested positive. Bummer. So he's backing out. I saw her Thurs evening, so I hustled out last night to get a rapid test. I'm negative. But it will make for a long 3 hours on Monday. Oh well. Sure hope Kelly is OK.

Good morning
Saturday Shop and I have a few people dropping by for this and that.
Waiting for soap boxes on the slow boat from China to arrive so I can make a small batch of case humidifier.
Still searching for ornamental brass tube stock or a suitable replacement. I may have to break down and order it from the manufacturer but then I have to order 3 times more than I need.
Shop work continues and I'm getting a little more shop time in each week than the week before. Still lots to catch up on.

Top o’ the morning. I have coffee so life is good. Those Chinese boats move slowly, Marty. Good luck.

Up and awake. We played a fun gig last night, playing a private birthday party. It will go down as The Night of the Drunken Austrians. Austrians in Kansas... Weird. Here's a nice shot the lovely Kathy took of me and the green Les Paul.

This morning we're going to make Welsh cakes. Have never had them, but I took a recipe from a website some time ago. Saw what they're supposed to look like at the recent Celtic Festival. A fat pancake made with a rolled out dough, not a batter. Should be edible.
There will be an art and jewelry show today within easy walking distance of our house, so we'll pop over there while we're out getting some exercise. We were thinking of going to a social lunch, but looking at the route map for today's El Tour de Tucson, it's not someplace that I want to try to get to.

First day with sun and light winds for quite a while. Amazing what the sun does for a guy’s mood.
My wife has been unable to work at her antique store in St Paul for six weeks because of health issues so I made a quick down and back yesterday to restock her booth and deliver food for their big open house this weekend.
I am happy to report that the massive 60 mile construction project between Clearwater and the 694 turnoff that has plagued us for the last couple of years is almost done. It was pretty clear sailing.
It’s a good feeling not being passed by a speeding semi at 75mph on a bumpy surface sandwiched between two concrete barriers with less than 15” to spare in any direction.

The forecast here is for a high of 53 degrees this afternoon and the wind is supposed to be near zero. Given that, and the fact that there are no more 50 degrees forecast through the end of the month, I'm going to try to get in a bike ride. Probably won't be too long, somewhere between 12 and 20 miles.

Frosty and brisk this morning but no real snow yet this year. Breakfast done and coffee sipping in progress. Gathering my strength for a day of basement organizing and cleaning. Gonna frame a room in down there for a music/ band room.

Sunny and mild. Breakfast done and coffee sipping in progress. Girding my loins for a day of re-organizing the socks drawer. Shouldn't take the whole day, so I might do something else later.

I have a three car garage and have not been able to park a car in it for 12 years. (When my stepdaughter, her husband, and their infant moved in "temporarily" with an apartment's worth of stuff to store while he awaited his first Air Force posting after an ROTC commission. He instead abandoned wife and child.) We worked on cleaning it out yesterday and it is looking promising for this year. That would really be nice, not scraping ice or snow off the windshield each morning this winter. We are not there yet but getting closer.

Morning in Hawaii. The sun is up. Our friends that we were sharing the condo with leave today, just moving down to Kapa’a, as their kids and new grand baby arrive and they need some grandparent time,
My daughter and her new husband, head back home today, and back to work, we will still have Nita’s parents, and sister and bro in law hanging out fir the next week or so. So our vacation starts this evening, I foresee sushi and tropical drinks in our future.

Back from my usual Saturday circuit -- credit union, car wash, meat market, wine shop, drugstore, Zakia Deli for a takeout lunch of garlic lemon chicken, tabouli, Lebanese salad and pita. Smells really good.

120km for the week, 6.29hrs. Today is fine, and I'll be out for the usual, but the coming week will be an 'off' week--rainy and cooler from tomorrow..

Smells really good. Not Lebanese but Cypriot, so close. Have you tried Halloumi cheese, Bill? Grilled, it's spectacular.
