The dermatologist cut lots of stuff off of me the other day. I have a divot in my forehead that I can hide things in & it hurts. Other than that, everything is coolioso. Visit your friendly dermatologist today!

On Thanksgiving weekend I got a text from a friend asking if I could babysit her cat for a week, starting December 9th. I enlisted the help of my family to try to come up with a good lie to avoid it, but alas, no good lies were forthcoming.
Today is the 9th, the cat Hemi, short for Hemingway, will arrive at 11:00 am.
Wish me well.

Up. Somewhat awake. Drinking coffee. Dachschund is snoozing, after visiting the backyard and eating her breakfast. And so the day starts.

When I visited Havana. People would call out to me, 'Papa, Papa.' Guess I look a bit like the man.

Good morning
After a few days of working on bench vises, humidifiers and string winders it's time to get back to working on guitars.
First a setup on a brand new Tele that will be a Christmas gift and then I think the 60s Gibson B-25 needs a few frets and a setup. After that Charlie Parr's B-45-12 gets a neck reset and I still have a D-28 and Mossman to reset plus a few electrics to refret, Tyler doesn't get to do those. As helpful as one might think that would be I can't do my work and look over his shoulder to make sure things are done the way I want them done.
Terry is in town tomorrow, lunch wif da boyz.

Good morning. My usual Zoom breakfast was cancelled because the host is ill so I slept late. Sleeping late is tempting when the days are short.
A walk in our Phoenix Mountains yesterday made me curious about their geology so I've been reading about it. I never took a course in geology so it's slow going but interesting.
Enjoy your day.

Morning. Have to establish the set list for the Son's of Norway gig, practice guitar for same, practice all the Messiah Choruses for the concert on Wednesday, put up some Christmas lights on the fence and pergola, clean up the intersections after the snowplow went through, and something else I can't think of at the moment. Why does life have to be so hard?

Finals week is winding down. Many students have finished, and are leaving town for Christmas break. The clinic remains pretty busy, though.
