Wicked cold here, Strib says 15-below. In Grand Forks, it's minus-25, in Brainerd minus-32, and those are air temps, not wind chill.
But tomorrow is sposed to be in the upper 20s ABOVE zero.
Terry, Bemidji Air's Flight 62, Twin Beech service to Alexandria, just flew over my house and is following the freeway to your vicinity.

Good morning, all.
I was listening to Bluegrass Junction on SiriusXM while driving yesterday, and heard this song:
The group is called The Wooks. I had never heard of them before. Here's another from the same album:
I like these guys! I love to discover someone new.

Minus 24 with sun and a light breeze. Glad we cancelled our gig last nite, we would have been loading out in minus 30 wind chills.
Hope you are feeling better Shannon.

I've talked to several patients who have experienced these "attacks" of fatigue after having COVID. Mine aren't debilitating; I can (and do) work through them. I suspect that, like most viral symptoms, they will go away with time.

I remember a gig we did in Hugo, MN at a roadhouse bar. It was -30F with a 50mph wind. The Sheriff dropped by and said he wanted the place closed down so people would go home and be safe. We packed up and started loading the truck that was backed up to the stage door. The wind blowing between the truck and the building was brutal. The second you stepped out that door and that -70F wind chill hit you all you could do was scream. Any exposed skin felt like it was burning so we had to cover our faces and load out with the owner yelling about being too slow and he was loosing heat.

Good morning, making the 1 hour trip to the lowlands today for a round of golf. Hope to see 60 degrees in Canon City today. When I was serious about golf in the mid 80s there was one Denver winter where I got a round in every weekend but three. Not every round was in ideal conditions.
Cheers

2 days of heavy snow - almost 2 feet at the house - now being followed by temps in the mid 30's and rain and freezing rain later. Yay.

Good morning brethren
Any act of kindness - a smile for a neighbor, a kind word in a store, a stepping back so someone can enter - when done with an open hearted intention - is an act of service.
Enjoy your day

It's bitter cold here too, but tomorrow it'll be a couple degrees above freezing. In other words, downright balmy.

Good morning, making the 1 hour trip to the lowlands today for a round of golf... Cheers Thanks for that branch of hope, friend! The days are getting longer, the sun stronger. And Spring will come in just a few long brutal months. Ah, Sweet Hope, dost thou nourish.

I just checked, and the Montana hills are in the balmy sixties with gobs of sunshine and fields of blooming daisies.

A balmy, though moist, 48 degrees here. Quite a bit of flooding in local areas. The island in my brother's pond was underwater a couple days ago. Hopefully the deceased pets he had buried there will not start floating up.
I am trying to decide where I would rather be right now, lounging by the pool in Minnesota or horseback riding in Montana.

Back inside after running the snowblower. City plows came through last night and blocked driveways, so I cleared a bunch of our neighbors' entrances. Light snow so not a difficult task.
If I generate some energy I might try cross-country skiing on some tame trails at a county park. Hopefully someone has already broken trail.
